You are a total saint! I have been struggling with how to automatically scroll a document for a video and livestream I am working on and you are the first person to show how to do this! I can now do this with the document I need to show and bring it into OBS. Thank you doesn't cover it enough!
Erin, great demo on how to use the auto scroll. My question is, does Adobe have a way to use a horizontal line across the page as it scrolls so you know where you are or even it it will highlight the sentence as you are reading? I have a brain injury something like that may help me out so I would not get lost. my injury has everything to do visual amongst other affects it causes.
Hello Mike, thank you for watching! I am not aware of Acrobat offering the features you describe. However, you may want to use Acrobat's Read Aloud feature, which you can access through the View menu.
Thank you for this video! A little question, is it possible to controll the speed of scrolling without using the keyboard? (my laptop supports touch screen control, like a tablet, and I'm trying to find the way to regulate the scrolling speed while using it in that mode)
Great question! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a solution on my own touchscreen laptop. I will definitely post something if I stumble upon an answer. Thank you for watching!
Is it possible to save the timing number on a particular file so that every time you open that file and turn on the scroll feature the timing is automatically selected?
Erin, do you know if scrolling would work on an ipad? I see Adobe Acrobat reader is available for the ipad. I want to use it like your teleprompter example, but to scroll music while I play guitar. The default for pdfs is Preview, so I’d need to change that somehow too.
That is an excellent question! I don't have an iPad, so I'm afraid I can't do any testing for you. I did check on my iPhone and was unable to find a solution, although the features may be more limited on the phone. I do hope you are able to find an answer!
Fantastic question! You can set it to repeat by selecting the Edit menu > Preferences > Full Screen category > Loop after last page. Thank you for watching!
Thank you for watching! The scrolling direction is determined by where you are in the document. So, if you are viewing the end of the document and then start scrolling, it will scroll upward. If you are at the beginning of the document, the scrolling should move downward. I hope that helps!
That is a great question! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a way to make the automatic scrolling horizontal. If I stumble upon a solution, I will be sure to share the steps. Thank you for watching!
It doesn't work for my version does not have a view menu. Aha. I discovered that via the 'Menu' menu one can restore the old layout, thereby restoring the view menu.

Can we add loup scroll or slideshow in Acrobat reader so that a slide show on repeat mode continues to run? Can that be made possible??

Automatic Scrolling does not stay on, Nor does it have the option to Keep it on.
