- These are some of my favorite acrylic pour paintings that I've done so far! They are all made using mostly Amsterdam, Soho and Pebeo acrylic paint mixed with water and various pouring mediums. The swipe and blue "seashell" paintings have Australian Floetrol to create that beautiful lacing. Well hello my dear, I love every pour u made but my favorite is the black one with some yellowish orange and orange color, it looks like the sun that coming out of behind the clouds viewed while in the sky and I like ur last one that spreads on 3 canvases, it looks like big flower that belongs in giant land, hihihi…

Are you using silicon oil in your dutch pours to get those cells/lacing to happen? I've done a few and never had that effect happen to mine.
No silicone! It’s Amsterdam and Pebeo paint mixed with pouring medium and water. I have a few tutorials on how to get cells and lacing 😊

Thank you! No silicone. Each one is a little different, there’s a link for each painting in the description so you can see each recipe. It’s mostly paint and water, some have pouring medium, and the swipe and tilt paintings have Australian floetrol 😊

This might be a dumb question but are you putting an ingredient in the paint that causes the cellular, Lacey look or is it simply the way that the paints move together?

Thank you, I’m happy you liked the paintings! Each one is different.. the paintings with the blow dryer are mostly 60% paint 40% water. The other swipe and tilting paintings are a little thicker consistency and have pouring medium added as well, and Australian Floetrol in the white. I have the video links in the description so you can see the ingredients for each painting 😊

I don’t have one yet, maybe I should make one! I would start out simple with 1 part paint 1 part floetrol and then add water to thin to a melted honey consistency. I use the blow dryer on low and warm air.
