Nice work out there.. I have 2017 cascadia today I start hearing sounds coming from the bunk ac but it was cooling fine at the bunk .. I washed the truck and now it's cold at the front and it's not cooling at the back .. I think mine is parksmart it has the vent in the back and it turns on every time I switch the bunk ac on .. what could be the problem?? Thanks in advance
i want to ask. my truck 2015 frightliner cascadia fron blowing cold but sleeper on blowing requler air . also on the winter not blowing hot air on the sleeper only requler air . do you thing its the same value issue u do had. ?
Would this fix issue if sleeper vents not blowing at all & parksmart fan on back of cab behind sleeper is not working either. Front ac works & the AC control buttons in the sleeper are controlling AC in the front of cab

@@DKUSTOMSGARAGE fuses all checked out good. Had 1 bad relay tho but not sure what it goes to. No diagram on the cover. This was the section under the bed , inside the side storage box
When the truck is on it blows cool air not cold and when the truck is off and I turn on the park switch it’s cold for about 20 mins then jus moving the same air
Your system is overcharged. So the freons not able to evaporate in front but by the time it gets to the back evaporate making the back ice cold. If you run your truck and turn your AC on Max on both of them with the windows down and hook the gauge to the low side he'll tell you what range your in.
If AC works in the front but not in the back, it’s only x3 reasons. 1. Check if that door on Hot/Cold side opens and closes. 2. Expansion valse. 3. Condenser radiator clogged. This is not electronic issue for sure.....
What if you recharge your HD it holds charms and vacuum for 4-6 hours depending on every Left hand Luke everything you have to reach our gave a Big Bill of Freightliner over $10,000 to fix it swear they have to be

Park smart is a weird system. Got to see in person of what is going on. Thru messages impossible to say what is wrong.

Try, it’s not expensive fix.
Hey question how you refill the a/ c or where u put the freon
Under hood. Best bet to refil at a truck stop or other AC local places.

Fan doesn’t work at all or only when parked and ParkSmart should kick on but not. ?

Got to check fuses first then open a fan unit behind driver seat and go from there with a multimeter.

What was the hi side pressure before changing the expancion valve. And after
Oh don’t remember. There was issues with high and low when A/C turns on.
Never work on this type of system
My hi guage reads 100 I can here the compressor turning on bit I don't see a change onthe pressure. No low pressure connector

On the "O" ring does it matter which way or colors it is placed.
I think you wouldn’t mess up. There are different sizes

Check fuse, then probably switch. But how it blows cold if fan doesn’t spin?

Need to install new rubber rings as well. Maybe your rear AC radiator leak??
And what is the fuction of the hose next to expansion valve it worn out and and torn at the bottom

No. This was bank AC wouldn’t cool down while truck is ON and driving.
Why did u replace the expansion valve what was the problem u was having
My AC in the front did work and in the bank it wasn’t. It was just blowing same temp air what was in the cab.
Mine it's just doing that, now I know how to fix it and I will save some money, and how to recharge the gas or freon ?
Stop by a truck stop or smaller places who does A/C They will fill up cheaper. Should be no more then 100$

Any Walmart in Texas $4.95 a can of 134A freon +$18 refill hose , you may need from 4 to 6 lb to refill empty AC system.

Valve is cheap, but hard to find out if this is the case.
