Awe blast and Spiral Carve are the main enhancements if you want to increase your dps. Generally Awe Blast is better for solo dps but it depends on the class.
Keep in mind that monsters naturally only have 15% crit chance so if awe blast activates then the boss will never crit which is quite useful against hard bosses.
If a class already has defence reductions on the enemy then awe blast will be less effective and Spiral Crave will be better.
