I wonder who the other players were? This week had ten contestants, and so far, I've seen three of them on Buzzr's reruns: Reggie Patterson (Originally appeared on May 3, 1988), Jim Rexwinkle (Originally appeared on July 20-21, 1988), and Julie Jackson (Originally appeared on August 05, 1988).

According to the latest Buzzr schedule updates, Days 1-3 will be airing on April 8-9. Someone who took notes regularly during the original NBC run sent me some notes, and they stated that the Tournament of Champions aired April 3-7, 1989.

I loved Alex Trebek wearing sweaters on Classic Concentration!! I liked he was laid back & relaxed compared to the seriousness he demonstrated on Jeopardy !

And now, he's gone. He lost the battle with the cancer. Alex will be in our hearts forever.

I didn't know that CTV aired Classic Concentration in the late 80's, early 90's. At 0:01, CFTO-TV Channel 9 in Toronto is now known as CTV Toronto here in Ontario.

Alexander James-Palmer CKCO in Kitchener, Ontario (13) had Classic Concentration. This aired during the time WDIV in Detroit didn’t have it from March 1989-January 1991. I had to watch it on CKCO Sarnia satellite on Channel 42.

The Tournament just ended, but oddly enough, Buzzr skipped Day 3. We (myself included) thought they would be skipping this one. Apparently, Jim played against Monica from December 1987, the one holding a 30 second sign at 0:25.

I caught the tournament finale on Buzzr just today (they skipped days 3 and 4, though). And that finale was quite the sight. Not going to spoil it for those who haven't seen it.
