That Barry proset brings back a lot of memories, even the game the action shot is from. Barry went off that game but it wasn’t near enough against my huskers. I had to run errands with mom but had it on the radio. I was a huge college football fan back then. I know you guys are vols fans. Two of my favorite games from my childhood was the 90 and 91 tenn-Norte dame games. The rocket saved Norte dame in 90 and what a comeback for the vols on the road in 91. Remember it like yesterday. Glad the Barry got the 10. Overall nice return 👍 take care
Yes VC!!! We refer to the 91 game as The Miracle at South Bent. Those two games set the stage for Tennessee teams of the 90's that culminated with the 98 championship team. The best sports memories of several people in this area for sure.
That Leaf Thomas is the only Thomas rookie card I dont have. I remember when that 1st year of Leaf, none of us wanted to spend that much on a pack so we didnt get more than a few packs of it. Nice cards :-) As always thanks for the video :-) Love that 85 Donruss
Thanks CTC!!! I remember those Leaf packs too. Couldn't really afford to buy them and not sure I even really wanted to. 85 Donruss is a great looking card. Agree.
Very nice reveal guys, love all the variety and the different years. I ripped so many packs back then and I have about a 25 card submittal ready to go to SGC, but just sent 3 cards off to PSA at $100 each so will have to wait a little while.
@@COGSportsCards nothing I’m sure video worthy - you guys are the stars here, I’m just a little guy. But, I will be sure to let you know when they came back what grades I get 😁

Very nice submittal! That 10 on Sanders is awesome! One of my favorite football players of mine. You are cursed on Jordon's dont understand it. I will have to do some SGC sometime. Great video as always boys!
Thanks Retro!!! Good to hear from you. Very happy to turn that Sanders around and see the 10. Amazing feeling. SGC service has been great. Getting cards back within a month.
Great stuff!! That Kirby looks like it fell victim to a dull blade during production. Also, I'm starting to think that SGC has a problem grading Js...makes me wonder if you could get at least some refund for no number grade...probably something in the fine print against that lol either way, they're all treasures!! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Driller!!! I think they are really conservative on any Jordan card. This might have been from a universal treasures box so who knows. I think HGA gives refunds if they don't grade them. SGC has a box you can uncheck if you don't want them to slab an A. Not sure if they give you a refund or not when they don't slab them.
Some nice grades on those cards. Is there way to check an SCG pop report on the Jordan sticker to see if they have only authenticated that sticker or have they given grades to any?
Those 1990 Fleer Basketball boxes are pretty affordable, I buy one open it live, you usually get 2-3 of the Jordan AllStar per box, then send them in the next day to SGC, call them out when they send it back Authentic, just an idea lol
Love watching what you guys do. Keep it up!! Can I ask if you look at the cards with magnifying glass to check corners/edges and do you hold the card under a really bright light to check surface or do you guys just look at the card with naked eye and give it a grade you think?
Thanks so much Jason! Yes, we do look at some of the cards. We have a microscope we use to look at the edges and scan over the surface. Sometimes we know there are issues with the card and still have them graded. By the time we get them back we have usually forgotten what they looked like when we sent them in. We are not very picky since we aren't trying to make sure we make money on them. They are basically all for our PC or to give back to the community. An SGC 7 is still a really nice looking card and it's not going to get any better than it is right now. Sometimes we are a bit surprised but most of the time we know what to expect.
