Hannah Wicklund is a powerhouse guitarist, vocalist and songwriter of the eponymous rock n roll trio Hannah Wicklund and The Steppin Stones. They write massive blues and classic rock influenced anthems with gnarled distortion, slamming rhythms and hefty guitar solos. In the interview Wicklund shares her thoughts on the role of social media promotion, the value of technology detox, and touring the festival circuit. It's this kind of awesomeness that makes me wanna smack people upside the head when they say there's no good music anymore. Holy crap, these peeps are fantastic.
I think what they mean is that there is good music, but it gets ignored. Back in the 60s or 70s something like this would have been on the radio all the time.

She cops so much crap from the Greta Van Fleet fandom because she’s dating the bass player and they’re jealous 🙃 she deserves recognition because of her TALENT, not hate from keyboard warriors. I’m so blown away by her live performances, she makes it look so easy.
She’s a massive talent, very serious about her craft. I’m the biggest GVF fan and I am huge fan of Hannah too, I wish I had had a music role model like her when I was younger. I am not surprised at all that a musician as passionate and versatile as Sam Kiszka would find a partner in her. She is one hell of a talent in a very tough industry where unfortunately classic rock has no space or endorsement anymore. It’s all about the indie over hyped acts. Go Hannah, you are a legend already in my book

I’ve been living under a rock apparently and just “discovered” Hannah in a rig rundown. Wow…she is immensely talented and a genuine rocker!
Hannah is the real deal transversing several genres in a tasteful way full of tone and color. She knows her gear better than most, if you don't believe watch her rig rundown. VERY IMPRESSIVE

I seen her live in Regina Opening for Greta Van Fleet; I cannot even begin to describe how great the show was. My mind has been irreparably blown wide open by her! Love it!

Saw Hannah and the Stones with my wife this past weekend with Marcus King Band. We did not know there was an opening band. They absolutely blew us away. SO much talent!!

seeing Hannah in Toronto opening for Greta Van Fleet shortly......first time I have checked her out and I am quite impressed and looking forward to seeing her.
She is So Fucking Baddass. Her band is awesome too, but I've seen her with various lineups behind her, and she's always stunning.
Saw her open for Marcus King at the Ritz in Raleigh on 3-24-22. Completely awestruck. Powerful from the soul vocals, masterstroke guitar playing. Looking forward to hearing more from Hannah.

ROCK 'N ROLL!!!!! I bought their mp3 a few weeks ago after seeing this live and love listening to it on the treadmill. Love the long jamming intro they could do more of that on the next album for sure.

Her Orange amp sounds about as good as an amp can sound, and she knows how to rock it like they did in the early '70s. Girl's got some appeal, smoking voice.

Saw her open for Greta Van Fleet. Both were stunningly good. She’s an amazing artist. Man, though, what’s with the 47 commercials on this video? More than once there is a commercial in the MIDDLE OF SONGS. I know it’s not her doing that, but geez, just put like 3 commercials after each song. Who in their right mind puts commercials in the middle of a 5 minute song? But of an a-hole move, totally wrecks what is otherwise an AMAZING video.
