I thought Sebastian's episode was entirely scripted at first because noone could be that clueless and delusional. The encounter he had with Gordon where he answered every criticism Gordon had with talking about his plans of franchising and then celebrated that he won the argument after Gordon walked away was the biggest idiot owner moment I've ever seen on this show

@jacobuponthestone9093 In a will, you can leave cash in a trust fund for underaged people. It's supposed to be managed by a guardian that would keep that child's future in mind. His dad was NOT supposed to use that money for himself.

I definitely think it's common sense to not mix anything that's raw with anything that's cooked, so the fact that there are people out there that out those two together, whether on the same plate, bowl, or container, is just surprising

What about Chappy’s, the NOLA Cajun restaurant in Nashville where the owner served bland Cajun food and went back to his old ways immediately after Gordon left.
I think that guy is legit unhinged. He's basically one of those "quirky" guys everyone just accepts. Unfortunately he decided to open a restaurant. 🤦♀️
Did he have his business fail too? like it collapsed instantly and he blamed Ramsey even though he kept nothing that Gordon actually added and fixed
I love people who boast their food is delicious, but their business is failing. Another one of these shows said it best. "It doesn't matter if your family likes your food, if 100 people like your food, you have to convince thousands of people your food is worth it to keep the doors of a business that you're living off of open,". I think that's a lot of what makes these places fail. They get told by their spouses and friends how good their food is. Then people they don't know come in and suddenly reality sets in.
Anyone who cannot be critiscized, cannot be respected.

Running a restaurant especially as Executive Chef is no walk in the park. There’s menus to plan, quality control, running a team, etc. Can’t believe the arrogance of someone who fresh from culinary school didn’t bother to go to any restaurant and train so he can learn the basics of restaurant management.
I love when Ramsay delivers an insult or mic drop right in someone's ear. 😂

It depends. I'd probably put ground elk in a quesadilla. I use it in chili all the time. Normally though, you would prepare it like a good steak, or you braise it. There's almost no fat in it, so it gets chewy easily
@@Iliveinabox666 If it’s not inconvenient, are there any other elk cooking tips you wouldn’t mind sharing? I’ve only had it a couple times and don’t anticipate getting the chance to again any time soon but I think it’d be handy to know because I’d like to cook my own at some point.
@@wessmoore7894 the main thing that you don't wanna go more than medium rare with it, because it's extremely lean and can get tough easily. This is a point of contention with some people but I find that reverse searing elk works great. For stuff like the tenderloins I like to smoke them or roast with aromatics. If you're making like.. Sausages or stuff with ground elk, make sure you add a good amount of fat or it'll be dry. I like beef tallow but pork fat will do as well.

Trevor was going through some thing's. Poor thing was on drug's. I actually didn't blame trevor. It wasn't his fault the restaurant was failing. Why would anyone else care more about your restaurant than you do? It's not their business. The owner didn't care so trevor and the rest of the staff followed in their foot step. Trevor is doing great. He's been sober for years now and is doing awesome.

one episode i watched recently involved a woman who did catering, then started up a soul food restaurant. she had no clue how to properly cook it, interfered with her entire kitchen staff, where even maybe 1/3 of the kitchen was even usable, and had the audacity of thinking everything she thought and said was correct and everyone else was wrong. biggest ego trip in her kicking Ramsay out of her restaurant AFTER he remodeled the whole thing for her. i really hope she had to pay back for wasting everyone's time after that incident

I fail to understand how these people keep being staffed, usually by people who worked there for some time and just took it. No offense to anyone, but if its that bad as it usually is ur gone in like the first week no? Or atleast actively looking for something else. Utterly confuses me.
