I managed an autograph pic and he was so nice to us, this was a hit August day In a boiling studio for many hours znd he stopped everything and bought us all ice team to cool off, he was a thoughtful kind man, I was surprised he wasn’t as tall and big as he looked on screen, in person he seemed more average hieght and wieght but still sexy

He was 5'11" flat footed, prob 180/190 in his top physical shape. A bit above average for males at (5' 9"). But he always wished he was taller & bigger, as most guys do! However, his stats never prevented him from being an elite athelete...He was a STUD!

As to Brando, he was a game changer, a revolutionary actor (thanks to people like Kazan), he fought for great causes way ahead of his time, all true, but I never found his personality attractive and in the last two and a half decades of his life he made lousy pictures only for the money and his eccentric behaviour caused lots of problems.

Only time he tried to act like him was in that one Twilight Zone episode where his character was something of a homage to Brando, but it wasn't his idea. The writers of that episode wanted the character to be a method actor, and since Brando at the time was so well known for his method acting, he was the inspiration: Reynolds at the time was just a young actor who happened to have a physical resemblance to Brando and he got the part, doing what the staff wanted him to do.

Brando was one of the most overrated actors I’ve ever seen. Sure he had a certain charisma but best actor in the world? Not by a long shot. It’s like people who say that about Deniro. Deniro just has a personae that people enjoy. 90% of his roles he plays it exactly the same. I enjoyed Deniro over the years but I don’t consider him a great actor. Just a great screen presence. Great actors are the ones where you don’t see the actor as much as you see the character.

He's really struggling, so slow to speak and gather his thoughts.
Maybe all the medication he was on at that point.
