Hi Michele, I don’t know how I missed this lesson! Yes I play with people that talk to themselves and after they hit their shot I say “you talked to the wrong person”. Lol thanks again!

Michele, you produce definitely one of the best golf channels on UA-cam! Many thanks 🙏🏻

The 123 swing is so helpful. Clears the mind, slows the backswing, creates rhythm and times the impact. 1, 2 back and smack the ball on 3. A fun way to play.

Michelle this is a really good topic. I have been overwhelmed with the many things that happened. Swing thoughts I have are thirty or so! 😂. Been trying to hit it consistently, but in doing so, I had analysis paralysis! Your teaching is RIGHT ON

Very relevant topic, sometimes we just can’t help overthinking, probably due to high expectation to get lower score. It’s understood, but just so hard to do ☺️

Hi Michele~ I tend to overthink which makes me tense which makes me hit a bad shot which makes me angry which makes me overthink which makes me tense which makes me hit a bad shot which makes me angry which makes me overthink... and there I was lost in this rapidly descending spiral and honestly, then getting angry at my anger! So how grateful I was to find videos addressing all of the above on your channel! My aim in golf is to enjoy it and I suspect you've done a lot to help! Thanks

Michele, years ago, I tracked my thoughts on every shot over four rounds using a code I developed so as not to slow me down while playing. I would just check off a code such as "TJ" for trajectory. Or "PV" for the pivot. Or "TG" for the target. Much to my amazement, not only did I have too many swing thoughts but there was no pattern to them. My mind would jump all over the place. Before each round, I would try to use just 1 or 2 swing thoughts. As the round progressed, I found my mind quickly abandoned the original plan. I realized I probably had Golf ADD (attention deficit disorder). Thereafter, I discovered Tour Tempo by John Novosel which helped me a lot. By focusing on the rhythm of the swing, I could not possibly focus on swing thoughts. Michele, your advice on overthinking is very solid. I agree with all of it but find it difficult to apply after so many years of overthinking on the golf course. Thanks. I look forward to more of your video assistance. FYI. I am now 83 years of age and still trying to get my handicap back to a 9.4, a feat I accomplished many years ago by working on my rhythm while playing and following your advice on not overthinking.
