Great video, but growing up on the Philippines I noticed a lot of misleading information. Most of the clips being shown are people playing in the dirt or even flood but we actually have a lot of nicer courts specially public ones than here in the US. We had covered courts where rain doesn’t mostly come in so we can play everyday rain or shine. We also have our own national League that is famous nation wide and what makes basketball so popular. It is not just popular because it’s the only thing we can play, it is famous because it is part of our culture now. And we used to also play a lot of football/soccer on school pe😂 Other than that great video.
Let's not forget the Philippine National Basketball Team managed to got 5th Place during the 1936 Berlin Olympics. One of the players would go on to become a senator.
