NH Bald Eagle Release

On April 15, 2024, an injured bald eagle was reported. NH Fish and Game Conservation Officer Tom Houghton, along with Wings Wildlife Rehabilitation Center Director Maria Colby, captured the injured bird and brought it to the animal rehabilitation facility for evaluation. After six days of thorough examination, the eagle is ready to be returned to the wild.

I am so grateful I live in New England! I was out hiking today and came across a deer no more than 10 feet from me and a beautiful bald eagle perched way up in the tree. You all are the best for what you do. Saving every species is so important and I loved watching you on the Game Warden tv shows! Got me through the 2 years of Covid lockdown!! ❣️😁🤙
