I have a few sets of Rosa and they are my go to watercolours. Schminke has always been my favourite but they are my 2nd favorite now. I love how rich the Rosa are and they have a permenant place on my table
Thank you so much for this beautiful showcase 🇺🇦 Also I appreciate so much that you talked about the invasion and about bying russian products. I had a few "discussions" in YT comment sections about buying and promoting nevskaya palitra without disclosure that it's a russian brand and that supporting russian economy rn is a bad idea. It's disheartening how aggressively some ppl reacted, claiming that I don't actually care abt Ukrainians and do it for internet points (I'm literally Ukrainian, of course I care) or that art is beyond politics... it made me very upset. Unlike your video!! Thank you so much, I am so happy to see foreigners talk about Ukraine not in negative context ❤❤❤
I love Rosa paints and have all the sets and will buy the acrylic ones from Michael’s. I bought my Russian watercolors in 2015 and 2016, they have been some of my most loved watercolors. I will continue to use them but unfortunately I will not be able to replace them and don’t advocate anyone purchasing them currently.
Thanks so much for sharing these. I would really like to eventually try the Rosa paints. I don’t have any of that brand at the moment but they are definitely on my list. 🇺🇦 😊
What a collection 🥰 I used to think that this brand was over hyped but when I first tried them myself I was upset with myself because I misjudged them for ao long 😅 I got their botanical set and I Love it 🥰
Today I found out, they have 2 new sets with 35 watercolour full pans each, a classic and a botanical set. I will probably go for the classic one, but both look great. I already have their 12x40 ml gouache set and I like the colours very much. They are very pigmented and smooth. And I totally agree with you about what you said about Ukraine! Hugs and greetings from Germany.
Oh wow! That is awesome! It's great to hear from someone else who likes and uses their gouache! I'm sure you will love their watercolors too! Thank you for your comments and support, I really do appreciate them! Take good care!
I love these paints. They're relatively affordable, especially for their quality, some people say they're student grade but I highly disagree. I know these are Rosa's pro line and I agree with that. I prefer these over most of the more popular brands. I think some people may have issues with these, iteems like even more experienced painters that they use too much paint. I know they can get super goopy if you pre wet or you have been using them for a few days or for a few paintings and it's easy to accidentally get too much paint on your brush. Then people will say they get used up quickly or they're more gouache-like or get shiny etc. Just like if you were to do that with any watercolor. My that's opinion though. I just wish I knew about these when I first started wanting to work with watercolor and research brands. These are priced great and awesome quality but you always hear about the big brands and especially when your beginning they're holy grail paints and for what though? Lol . Ya live and ya learn though lol. I'm just glad there are a lot more channels now that share these awesome more affordable paints so more people are aware of them. Something that was super intimidating to me was using good paints/paper supplies when I was first starting and when things are very expensive I never wanted to paint bc I felt I was wasting my paint and then I realized that I'm only wasting my supplies if I'm not using them. So now I just use what I what and I'm much happier. Anyway im now about to finish the video and I hope you have a great day and thank you for spending the time to share your supplies, ideas and thoughts with us!
Thank you very much for taking the time to watch, comment, and leave your opinion and experience with the paints, I really appreciate you weighing in. I had the same reaction to the "gooey" comments - I find all paints get that way, especially M.Graham - and I still Love M.Graham despite the goo. lol Thanks again for you comments! Take good care!
🇺🇦 Thank you for sharing your lovely collection and for speaking up about supporting Russian products. I used to love the White Nights watercolors, but I’m not buying them anymore and I definitely would not make a video promoting them. It felt nice to buy Ukrainian paints and I really love them. They are now my favorites 😍
Instead of white nights 24 tube set that I was planning to buy, I got mijello mission gold tubes, they were about the same price and I have bought white nights before and love them, but never again. Certainly going to take a look at those matt acrylics and some of the water colours too, but cannot use your links since I am in Europe
I just found your channel and really enjoyed the video. I subscribed and look forward to watching more of your previous and upcoming videos. Blessings, Nancy Rolfe
I haven't heard about this brand before, thank you for the discovery, I'll definitely check the gouache out. And it's such a bonus that it's Ukrainian.
Oh no, I just broke my no buy to get these acrylics 🙈, but I love my Rosa watercolors! Do the acrylics move once they’re dry unlike a traditional acrylic paint? Also, how is their open flow time before they dry? 🇺🇦
Ooooop! lol I think you'll be very hoopoe with your purchase! Once the acrylic gouache dries, it's permanent like acrylic is, it just dries to a beautiful matte finish. The open time is good, longer than Holbein, and also, the paint reacts well when thinned down with water! You can also mix it with regular gouache for even longer open time if you don't want to thin out your paint. Please let me know how you like it once you get it! Have a beautifully colorful, and peace filled, day!
Thank you for supporting Ukrainian products ❤️ I personally own almost everything Rosa makes and matte acrylic is the best thing that happened to my art life! I mean that velvety smooth surface. Just😍 I really really appreciate your position about White Nights because some artists say that art is outside of politics. Sure, sure. It’s nice that they can use a russian products while here is no light and I can’t see the paper on a table. Sometimes here is no water even for daily routine so using watercolours would be a luxury. Right now is 15 degrees at my home and my hands are so cold I can’t draw a proper line. So yeah tell me about art outside of politics. Don’t get me wrong if some artist already has russian paints it would be stupid to throw them away. But if you buying a new one don’t be delusional and keep in mind that your hypothetical 10 dollars are flying on our heads while we’re definitely not able to draw sitting in a bomb shelter at 4am. That’s why I want to thank you again for your support. You already did so much for us but knowing that someone cares is even more important. It brings some hope ❤️
Thank YOU so much for you comments and support - while in a bomb shelter at 4am. Art has always been political, and that's a VERY good thing. Not much has survived the centuries of war that this globe has seen, but art has. Always. When people are silenced they speak through art. Art can never be silenced, and it says so much. Artwork and the artists who make them are the world's true historians. I'm so sorry you've found yourself in the middle of this war. Your strength is astounding, and I hope that your freedom is found once again soon. Sending you the best from PDX.

That’s the way to do it! 😃✌🏻🎨🖌️🇺🇦
How awesome is that? The matt acrylics will be next on my list when I decide to break my no-buy, which is turning into more of a not-as-much-buy...lol
Thanks so much for sharing these. I would really like to eventually try the Rosa paints. I don’t have any of that brand at the moment but they are definitely on my list. 🇺🇦 😊

I appreciate that you shared your budget. So many UA-camrs seem to have bottomless pockets.😳
Glad it was helpful!

This matt acrylic looks like matt gouache, at least to me, in a video
That's exactly what it is!
I loved your video, all of it. Thank you so much ❤
