This is something a little different and I really liked it. Mallards, Green Wing Teal, and Baldpates. At 5:40 right in the middle is a Black duck. And it’s nice to see a few good bucks in 2023. All in all another super view for us duck lovers. Many thanks to my favorite channel.

The black duck is a drake, yellow bill. Hens have a olive bill.

Second viewing I saw a Gadwall also. I was amazed at how much corn is left after harvest and the ducks were doing their best to get it off the cobs.

    Very neat!
I always assumed a mallard could easily extract a kernel of corn from an unprocessed cobb but there is a struggle of some degree. Very competitive lunch table.

I thought the video was shot in the USA . Then I read polish mallards, I saw an european male teal, and few american weageons so I am confused , was the video shot in Europe or in the USA ?

Let’s say you wanted to hide in the standing corner to the right and hunt. Would you be hunting over a baited field?

@swanriverwildlifealmanac1119 I go to the local cannal and feed a couple of flocks everyday.just before it goes dark so they know not to waste their day waiting for me....if I go there in the morning they are nowhere to be seen,it's the same at midday,at around 3pm they start waiting at the bankside and about 20 ducks steam me cause they know me and as soon as I throw them seeds...£1.50 per kilo½.....I throw them porridge oats on otherdays keep them warm in the cold night.....they get it off the Canadian geese...they bully the ducks,I try to avoid to feed them because of their dominance,I give the alpha Swan oats aswell,he gets pissed if I show up and give him nothing,if I feed another Swan the alpha Swan is up there backside pressuring them down the cannal and it makes me feel bad, so I try my best just to keep feeding the alpha swan, keep him in a good mood

This is a great example of why the natural migration of waterfowl has been altered so negatively. This used to be illegal.

Natural migration has changed because of pressure and weather. That simple. Corn impoundments have been around for decades.

Right at the end are two Wooduck drakes and a Northern Shovler hen. They are real serious about that corn you see more than a few pecks and battles over a cob.

Yall want to flood perfectly good corn so you can have ducks. I see the Blue Wing Teel are just as fat as the Mallards. I hope yall acquire an ET from the gmo's in the corn and the ducks. The land only suffers from your actions. It costs a lot of money to keep up the Game. The basin used to have many ducks, perhaps more than Swan River before you artificially made your puny basin. From farmer to farmer, if you want to be greedy with the wildlife, then you must keep...
