We spend three months a year on Hilton Head Island. It is our second home. We rent and try different houses. We especially enjoy taking the boat from Hilton Head Island to Savannah. He says that gas is less…it is amazingly and sadly much lower than Maine.

My, my how things have changed in Savannah in a year and a half. A small 1 br apt downtown would have been under $200,000 and now runs $240,000 plus. Gas is now $3.29 a gallon, Savannah is one of the highest places for gas in the state of Georgia

The CAT bus system is terrible compared to other major cities I strong recommend you do NOT take the public bus in Savannah unless you absolutely need to.
We have a great resource to look at properties to determine which ones are more at RISK of flooding in the event of lots of rain or other storms (hurricanes).
