Thank you for this demo! For getting awareness of this clay out there. I just backed this. This is really the clay of my dreams. I have always wanted this exact product. But it never existed before. I like to make dolls, figures and I do action figure customs and I have always wanted a way to sculpt something movable or at least rubbery: ie. hair, tails, bits of clothing, hands. And also the possibility with this of making something that is just so durable is amazing. Any clay thing a person makes must be handled with so much care. If it drops, it's dead. Not with this stuff! Oh, and your little snake is adorable!
I can definitely relate, not sure if you seen my Wall Art Lizard "Sushi" series, but I took it down to clean it one day and set it on a end-table for just a minute, well my cat Tigger JUMPED ON IT and slid off the end-table with the lizard and when it hit the floor it shattered. NO MORE OF THAT with Cosclay! And just think, Cosclay has 8 colors too, so we can incorporate cane designs onto our work that'll have just as much durability! Unreal. So excited!
@@TheBroodingTom Ooooh. That's so sad! But yes! No more of that. Even on little details like teeth and fur. And even if your home has a cat. Oh, they love pushing things off of things. I just found your channel so, no I haven't seen that yet. But I do love lizards so I will give it a watch.
Make an emerald green tree boa. That would be awesome! I made mine out of loctite power grab caulk. Not exactly rubber but does have a little flex and very strong.🐍

It's not always easy but I LOVE LOVE doing it! Whats worst is noticing a mistake after rendering and fixing it only to wait all that time again lol xD Still worth it, a lot of people here, including you, make it totally worth it! It really is exciting! I still have 2.5 lbs of this beta clay left... I'm trying to make it stretch (lol pun) but want to do a full-on project involving mostly cosclay again....... something with wings this time... hehehehe

So I has questions. First I am going to try to make some antlers for a headband/headdress for my daughter. I have copper wire for wire wrapping. I think the larges I have is 20 gauge. I also have stainless steel from the hardware department at Walmart. I don’t remember what gauges I have for sure in that I know it’s larger so I think I have like 18 and I might have a 16 gauge I’m not sure I’d have to go look but I’m trying to figure out is what would be the better option for making an Armature support for inside of the antlers. Because you know you have to wear your wrap them coming up as they branch off so I’m wanting to know in your opinion since you’ve already done this quite a bit would I be better off with the copper or better off with the stainless steel? By listening to what you said I’m kind of guessing that even though the coppers a lower Gage since I’m using so much of the base and branching it out as it goes up the antlers probably the copper is gonna be my better option but if you think the stainless steel is please let me know and why? Thank you so much for doing these videos and for your feedback. I’m so excited to finally try my cosclay. Currently only have the doll sculpting Clay but it should still work fine for this project and I’ll give me a rough idea of where I need to go to use it to actually try a creature. Again thank you for your help have a great one.
I'll have to give that a try thanks. I'm thinking a heavy copper wire would have been the easier.. Like that thick, solid ground wire for example. Very rigid yet easy to shape :D Plenty more to come so I'll definitely get a chance to fool around with some!

Also, I have been thinking about opening up Memberships for access to Live streams (non-members would get them at a later date) Steaming requires ZERO editing on my end and I think I could handle the extra load. I could just do random clay sketches or something, which I've never done btw. Whenever I do come up with a definite schedule of some sort, or Membership plans, I'll be sure to post a video on it. I glad you like all this enough to wanna see it more, means everything.. Thanks for the support!!!
Thanks! Ya there's many different rhymes to tell them apart but honestly I think this just makes it more confusing. Basically if yellow is touching red it could kill you lol.
Yeah I was looking it up and saw the rhymes 😄 it is confusing , I’ve seen king snakes here but don’t think I’ve ever seen a coral snake, see you teach more than just clay😄 but you need to watch out for those boogers lol
@@chanspirit1 If you've seen tri-colored king snakes, there are probably coral snakes in your area! It's a form of mimicry to protect them. They wouldn't evolve the coloring if coral snakes weren't around.
Clint's Reptiles just posted a video about coral snakes and talks about the mimicry and and how you see more mimics outside of the coral snakes range. Fascinating stuff!
Love the video but the coral snake isn’t even in the top 10 deadliest snakes. Hate to be that guy but I keep snakes and some dangerous ones. Coral snakes are venomous but not that deadly
I can see stop motion hobbyists using this as a go-to material in the future.

What happens after drying? Does the figure remain flexible or fixed?
Can u use acrylic varnishes over the paint or will it crack , as I like to protect my finished paint job
Let's say I bake a wing then paint it with acrylic, wont the paint then crack,rip or get ruin if I then bend the wing?
You could try rolling the wire between the table and a book to get it straighter
