Spring tillage & planting 2023 | Vegetable growing in Holland | John Deere & Fendt | With AgriBrink

- Spring 2023 turned out to be a challenging period for farmers and contractors in the Netherlands due to frequent rains. During some dry spells we meet up with Dutch farmers and contractors who are busy with spring tillage (ploughing and seedbed preparation), drilling and planting vegetable crops such as onions and celeriac.
A lot of different, new and interesting technology is being shown. From a brand new John Deere 6R150 and Fendt 724 generation 6 to a home made self-propelled transplanter and a widened Fendt 314 tractor.
Chapters:
0:01, Introduction
1:04, Fendt 724 Gen 6 + Ferrari transplanter planting celeriac
3:00, New Holland T7.270 + Lemken Juwel 8 ploughing
4:39, John Deere 6R150 + Maschio power harrowing
5:53, Home made self-propelled transplanter

Good luck trying to sell agricultural kit in beige and duck egg blue.
Great video again! Hopelijk kunnen we snel de voorjaarswerkzaamheden hervatten 😎
Bedankt Erik!
Why do Dutch farmers always or almost always, drive up to the very end of the field, before lifting the plow and turning around? Here in Denmark, we make headlands to turn on and make a marking line in the field, where to raise and lower the plow to get a more uniform raise a lower, instead of those triangles
Fields are quite small so you would end up with a lot of the field being headland. The yield and quality of the crop is always more poor on the headland so farmers try to minimise it as much as possible. With cereals it is easier but for vegetable crops not so.
Excellent video, always look forward to watching your videos. The quality of filming and content is fantastic. Best regards, david

Impressive machinery, especially the celeriac planter.
I think the tire variable air pressure is a joke.
Why a joke?

What good would it do for the tractor pulling the plow?
@@lfeco As the tyre pressure decreases the surface of the rubber increases. There is more tyre on the ground so less wheel slip and more horsepower transferred to pulling power.
Mooie video weer,
Wanneer komt de volgende part van ten Hove?
Die staat nog niet in de planning. Wie weet nog later dit jaar.
@@Agrifotodotnl oke dankje
