He also has an image... She said the only thing she regret is not not telling the truth in the beginning about why they broke up. She said she was covering for him after the whole racist thing went down. If you watch the show and listen to interviews his image means a lot more to him than anything else. He's always mentioning how his family is prideful etc. etc. I think if Maya realized it was such a huge thing for him she probably would have sabotaged her being on the show. Victoria left early so she could have done the same. He should have never chosen her but I guess getting your name out there for pulling a controversial ending is worth it. Who knows.

Many persons chose to accept Maya's side as fact without allowing themselves to see his point of view. Based on his actions I don't believe he is racist at all, nor do I believe he would turn a blind eye to racism. But hey, that's just my two cents..
