“What do we do now, ma’am.” The young soldier asked.
The elf stared at the enemy army, her long white hair blowing in the breeze. She could feel the crackling surface of her war paint just above her eyes. It gave her courage.
She turned to the boy, her piercing blue eyes seeming to look into him and her thin lips pressed into a hard line. “Be silent. Be true.” She drew her sword and raised it above her head.
She whirled to face her army. “We go to war, to death, to glory. Stand strong my brothers and sisters.” She pointed to the enemy army. “To silence.”
The army took up the cry as the charged into battle ready to accept the silence of death.
I was silent and I will be.❤
It gives you a feeling. You can't describe it. You dont know the meaning of it. But you know you have something besides this world. An purpose.
