Not all of us have, or can develop, that skill. You and Angelina are doing so well with the Chateau. It takes time and you knew that going in. Unfortunately, there is no pot of money at the end of the rainbow. Take your time, don't get discouraged (well, ok you can get discouraged for about 15minutes). It will work out in the end. Hi Phil, I was lucky enough to be with you guys, when you found Rusty. I am sure he is lurking somewhere, close to home. There are only so many hours in a day, you will get to the renovations, when you get to them. Running a pub, is a full-time job, it requires a lot of your attention to make it a success. You can't close up shop at 5pm and go home for the day and have weekends off. So, we will be watching, when you get to the renovations. Love from N.Y.

Just refurbishing an enormous house is a full-time proposition. Never mind the surrounding land - the moat - the animals - the trees - the lawn - the fences - the driveway - etc. And then you add in the pub and raising orphans...?! You've definitely got your hands full. Oh yeah, and a wife...!

We have several squirrels that come up to our front porch and take peanuts out of our hands. We get the unsalted in-shell peanuts from a local farm supply store. They live in the trees around our house, but some of them made a nest in the porch roof and we're pretty sure they had babies up there. We haven't seen them yet, but we can hear them up there.
Oh Phil that’s the first time I’ve watched the squirrel. It’s magic. My husband is so jealous. We get one in our garden and it pinches all the bird seed and nuts. Haven’t sean it for a while but I expect it will be back when it gets hungry. 😊😊😊

Nice update on the squirrel. It was nice to know the little creature came to a good end... Looking at the corner stones of the chateau, I notice they are stained from moss and lichen. Perhaps they would benefit from a treatment with bleach, like Billy did with the chapel.
Sorry others think you're too slow on projects--suspect those thinking that have never tried doing such work on their own, let alone while also doing 2, 3, or 12 other jobs, not counting all the other daily tasks. Keep your focus on supporting yourselves & the chateau. You're channel is Chateau LIFE. Life does get in the way of projects sometimes 😜. Keep up the great work, at your pace!
