Tommie Frazier was the most exciting college football player I had ever seen. Some people are just born winners and through his actions made everyone one the team better. I enjoy running in to Tommie from time to time around town with his family or at a tailgate. He is still a Husker fan and we as fans are immensely proud that he chose to come play at Nebraska. Congrats Tommie. GBR!

They STATED that if Nebraska had always been in the b10 that Nebraska would have ZERO National Championships in Football. And yet they are so loooooooow rent as to put up a video of a man that helped us Win Two of those NC's and if he is not the best QB for the Option style offense ever he is darn close.
No doubt the greatest option QB of all time - doesn’t hurt to have the best O-line & Schlesinger, Mackovicka, Phillips & others in the backfield but certainly the biggest Heisman rob in history
If he never got those blood clots he may have had an interest in going to the NFL. The NFL had drafted Cunningham in '85 but didn't see McNabb or Culpepper till '99 and Vick till '01. Would have loved to have seen Frazier get drafted('96) and his performance before the age of the college style running QBs started making their way into the NFL.
The Florida State game wasn't Tommy's fault. It was horrible officiating mainly at the end of the game when Florida State needed the help to win. Even Keith Jackson kept talking about how bad the officiating was during the last part of the fourth quarter. When you have announcers talking about how bad the officiating is during the game , it has to be pretty bad. Keith Jackson said more than once "we're sorry Nebraska fans we just can't find the offensive pass interference penalties that they they keep calling". Keith Jackson was a great announcer who did not hold back any punches and loved Nebraska football. As far as I'm concerned Tommy one that game too,but the officiating crew gave it to Florida State.

Either FL was very overrated or they didn't show up. 8 horrible teams could contain him but FL couldn't? * Only 2 SEC teams finished in the top 20. Lowest of the 90s * FL beat Ark in the SEC Champ. Ark is tied for the worst team (58 teams to date) to have played in that game. Finished 8-5 and unranked. What a joke that game was.
