Black has many different meanings, so I guess you should go with what suits your personality better. In general black is a symbol of elegance and professionalism, but is also a mourning solemn color. It can too be associated with feeling or seeking to feel secure/confident. This is why is a color that is used to represent following characters: a super successful and serious person, the solitary and depressed/mysterious, or the super confident and sexy, but elegant character. Hope I explained myself properly.

Maroon signifies a love that’s been lost. Love is red, and a love that has died or been lost is maroon. Kind of like blood that’s been spilled and sits there for awhile and darkens. That’s my opinion, don’t come for me. I lost my dad and my grandfather within the span of a year. My dad passed in a car accident and his father-in-law(my grandfather) shot himself. When I found him the blood wasn’t red, it was maroon. That’s the best way I know to describe it. People can hate on Euphoria as much as they please, but the show has valid points and an incredibly realistic portrayal of loss, addiction and suffering. Is it sexual? Yeah, it is. Which is a part of growing up. I can relate with Rue because I was an addict in high school.but I was also on dating apps just like Jules was as a minor. It’s kinda a niche topic but IT DOES HAPPEN. I promise you. The guy that raped me when I was 15 I met on Grindr. Yeah, I made the decision to meet up with him but I didn’t think he would brutalize me and rape me after drugging me and then physically kick me out of his vehicle(literally, I have a permanent scar from it) drive off

I hate when people say euphoria isn’t relatable because fr it is, I was an addict all throughout high school and so we’re all my friends we were smoking at school and would do drugs in the bathroom, my best friend had an abortion and there were many toxic relationships/people being abused… my best friend was exactly like cassie (daddy issues and desire for male validation) and I was exactly like rue. I could relate to the show so hard. I think people should focus on the fact that the show is relatable but it shouldn’t be, and how we can make high school and growing up safer for students
