I've never understood why passengers rush to be first on or off a flight. Boarding early doesn’t get you to your destination any faster-unless you're in first class, and even then, it’s by a split second. And being the first to disembark, especially with checked luggage, doesn’t save much time either. I’m usually the last to board, except for one odd flight where I somehow ended up both the first and last to board.
When a checker opens a line at the grocery store and says "nest person in line" then the person at the end of my line runs up to that checker- same-same?
