- In this video number {1130}, SMPS not turning ON, no output voltage, varistor short circuited. I explained how to repair smps step by step. i detected 2.2 microfarad 400 volt smoothing capacitor for standby power supply section, T6.3AH250V, and CNR14D471 varistor was short circuited

How to discharge capacitor
I usually short it using a wire is this way is correct?

never discharge a capacitor by shorting terminals

Hello Sir. I would like your opinion on a strange repair I had : Xbox One S PSU N120A001L Rev.03 : A friend got it for repair. He replaced : Fuse and C102 SMD Cap under Main Cap (blow marks on case) . PSU blew the Fuse. Gave to me. I used temp Fuse ( watch coil wire - very thin) powered with Series Lamp : full brightness. I checked Hot Side components - OK but there was a short on Bridge DC pins, Bridge OK . Found that C102 was shorted !! replaced with temporary : short gone, it worked 10min fine , cool and stable but with no load. Considered Fixed but worried about Load. The friend had it working half an hour and it blew again ! checking it I found the short is back , but C102 is OK ! I decided that the PSU is not safe for use ( rather cheap PSU) . What could be the issue ? Chopper Mosfet, Diode, Main Cap, Bridge and Polymer are fine ! Original issue -1, than friend's C102 issue -2, than my repair blowing up -3 ? Thank you ! keep the videos coming.
possible high ESR on electrolytic caps. an electrolytic can look good,but it's internal resistance is high,and the PS tries to drive the secondaries harder to get the voltage up to nominal.

The Delta Electronics Power Line SMPS power supplies do not appear to be of good quality, as I have already received several in repair on your You Tube channel. This does not rule out that your videos are not educational, on the contrary. Your knowledge of these SMPS power supplies is extremely excellent, and this is due to the fact that so many defective ones end up on your workbench.
I would like to see a video where you repair a defective SMPS power supply of, for example, an electric bicycle charger. This is because these repairs are more common in our regions. Thank you in advance for your excellent video material.

Yes this multimeter is nice but the real problem which i am facing that it consumes batteries very fastly.
Otherwise it is extremely reasonable with price and quality
