- In this lecture, we will analyse the concept of Dialectical Idealism as propounded by the great German scholar Hegel. Hegel argues that what is ideal that is real i. e. reality is the projection of the ideal coming out of Geist Or consciosness and it's projection onto the external world. We will also study about how Geist goes through the process of Thesis-antithesis-synthesis across history of mankind. We will study how Marx was influenced heavily by Hegel and propounded his concept of dialectical materialism.

I am not sure about books needed for net... I won't be right person to tell you about those..... Nitin Sangwan/IGNOU you could refer to these for net preparation...... If it would have been upsc, I would have definitely recommended you Blue Haralambos!!

@@aish.chauhanOrange Haralambos or Ritzer ....But Ritzer is difficult to comprehend....I would suggest you to make running notes out of these lectures and practice PYQs along with it!!

Dear.... I don't have adequate knowledge of pol sc from an optional perspective as I never pursued it..... Although I talked about political thinkers like Machiavelli, Rousseau, Voltaire, Hobbes, Locke, Montesqieu in the initial lectures!!
Sir please launch test series for this year's mains as I joined some coaching test series last year which was a total waste of time and money, I hope aap iss request ko consider karenge.
I can't dear as I could devote limited time (as I am involved in other pursuits also) which won't be fruitful at all... I just follow teaching for self fulfillment and it's more of a spiritual pursuit to me!!!

The lectures and their note compilation is enough.... however, if you still want to read book for thinkers... then you can refer ritzer!!

Thanks dear... I don't have adequate knowledge of philosophy at this point..... Switching optional requires a lot of deliberation.... There are people who stick to the optional who cleared and there are people who changed the optional and cleared... It's based on your comfort and analysis!!

There is not much quality material available for philosophy as per upsc level..and i am not getting marks also in mains.,,thus this decision...i am relying completely on your videos for now.,🙏
