Well I ain’t from the Miami area I stay far away from that I am north west of that area where there is loads of cattle and horses and a big rodeo that is known as one of the best rodeo in the country so we definitely have that down here as well but I understand it’s hard if you’ve never been down here or know the area to think of it as anything else but Miami and the beaches but there’s a lot more then that down here and just like anywhere else where cowboys and agriculture is we have to fight city people to keep our way of life. Thanks again for the kind compliment and support.
If I'm not mistaken Filson uses a100% pure virgin wool from Pendleton woolen mills while I know Schaefer uses a 75/25 blended wool from Melton mills who no longer makes their wool here in the USA, so the Filson is technically a higher quality vest but not necessarily in any ways that you're going to notice and their prices are certainly getting crazy these days. The Schaefer is a good value, but you are technically getting a little more for your money with the Filson even if it's not $145 more.
Definitely a great lookin vest! One thing I don't know too much about is vests, the one problem I do have with them is they always fit weird. Man its still weird to see no mustache, but I suppose every co host needs to retire from the cast lol Another great vid man!
Nice 👍 I’ve got a couple of vest. A winter from Rafter C and a summer from Scully. I also use them to dress up and keep the pistol concealed. I’ll check these out.
Very nice vest also great that its made here in the USA. I do like that they used elastic for the bac waist, however I also wonder how long will that elastic hold up, because some guys may have that vest 10 years from now. Can a Taylor get into that area to replace the elastic with doing major damage to the vest. Really nice review - always enjoy watching! Keep Orange Crushing It.
That my friend is a great question and it’s too bad I couldn’t find the word elastic when I was shooting the video but I’m sure if there is any issues with it Schaefer could be contacted to have it replaced but who knows it might last forever.
Made in the USA big dawg! Lets get it! Proud to support ole America and it's greatness.

Agree considering quality this vest is a bargain.
Yes, sir, and made in USA
I have the charcoal cattle baron vest. Great quality, made in USA for half the price of a filson vest.
Yes absolutely.

Yes, most definitely inside the waistband with the shield is perfect but no 1911 that’s for sure.
