GREAT video! Lots of useful bits of info, many I'd never thought about, like the transition into an av zone as you move from too steep (will already have slid) into the inclination that may well slide but probably won't have yet. The only other tip I think is essential that you missed, is great comms; discuss with your buddy at the top and even during the descent; what do you see? What do you think? What are you gonna do? etc etc. Thanks!
What type of rope did you use to help you lower into and test the Couloir? That looks like a long small diameter piece of rope similar to a cordelette but longer.
Dillon Smith I use just accesory cord or sometimes its called paracord. Rated to like 1500 pounds or something like that. I only use it for belaying myself or a partner and never for 2 people. Its light and the chances of it breaking are slim. The biggest thing is that its cheap insurance against a cornice breaking on you
Some Whippet poles they have made have the blade that folds back in like a pocket knife , So its not exposed as you ski . Saw these years ago . But yea the ones that have the blades always out .....I could see your concern and its a good one (ha)! I use a ice axe .

That sounds like a good idea to me. Do you know what diameter your paracord is? I feel like a 6mm cord would be strong enough.

Actual paracord is 550 pound test. Carefull, easily exceeded on a rappel unles you are very careful and don't slip
