He did Leon A. The runs are pretty similar so it should work if you just look up boss strats for Clair and adjust for heart rooms instead of club key rout. Also wheres Barry has a very good guide for Clair A HC if you want to follow that. Happy zombo hunting!
The hell?47:34 in hardcore that modulator wasnt there beside the corpse its instead youre going to the hatch, pass the licker and go up in a few stairs then youll see the modulator , I guess im unlucky to run

This game on Hardcore, B scenario, is stupid. There's been rare occurrences where Claire's Quickdraw doesn't stun the knees even after 1-2 shots or full health-one-bite-kills on stairways... Anyway, I finally beat Claire's B-Hardcore at S+. Now, for Leon's, which should be a little easier, but shit, Claire's drove me crazy lol.
I shot 2 rockets at this guy, 200 fuel from chemical flamethrower, 20 burst rounds from Matilda, 2 clips of high calibre handgun bullets and 4 magnum shots before he died and you just ruin him with a couple of slashes from the knife.............
So, there's a little bit going on here. First, Birkin takes most damage from the knife (weird, I know.) It's like a 2.9x damage multiplier. As he moves into the train, the damage he takes also increases. Once he's closer to the front of the car, the damage multiplier skyrockets, can apparently exceed 30x. So theoretically, if Birkin is far enough in, you can beat him in one hit with the knife.
What the almighty blue fuck Knifing Mr X at the end... Is the Rocket Launcher time or damage-based? On my 1st Standard clear I managed to get to him with over 50 Magnum Rounds (Because I am fucking Scrooge when I play these games) and I nearly used them all up on his face before Ada dropped it for me like WTF that is so much damage (I had both upgrades too AND ON STANDARD not Hardcore !) Gonna practice the bosses a bit then try again for S+.
In case you didn't google it the rocket launcher is both time and damage based. If you don't have any ammo or any way to hurt the super tyrant at all than it'll drop after three and a half minutes. If you damage him it just makes it drop faster.
Does Adaptive difficulty affect that though? I mean he always seems to just sponge magnum rounds like crazy compared to the original game - moves faster too. I'm convinced now that every enemy you kill cranks up each Boss' HP except possibly on Assissted mode.
You probably know this by now since it's been two weeks, but you aren't supposed to shoot his face. You're supposed to shoot his exposed heart. That's why it took you so many shots.

60 FPS is hella a lot harder not to mention not being able to speed it up when going up the stairs on speed runs. Makes it more fun tho.

It counts as multiple hits. Meaning that it's faster
Also I think if you hit the eyes directly you knock him out of the stun state faster.
