I have the sheet music, but Leo doesn't give right hand notation. I've seen different interpretations of the right hand for this piece. Some use the thumb for the string to string runs. Some do what you did and alternate i/m. I like your way, but which way does Leo intend?

Either is acceptable, especially since it is a study, you know? You could also try i-m for the first three strings and p-i for the three lower strings. You should definitely learn both ways.

Do you want to start a band? I’m working with Nicole Couch (Phantom Blue). I’m also talking to Tommie Rae Brown. Tommie is James Browns wife and I’ve played guitar all over Hollywood along with her band Hardly Dangerous back in thee day. I toured with Phantom Blue and played in a LA with some of the best musicians. You would be great in our band!
Sir, what etude should i try to play classical guitar well ...
I already learnt villa lobos 1 and 2 ,leo brower etude 6,but seriously i feel like i lack something on learning some pieces.and i need more complex techniques...for example learning leyenda(Asturias),tango en skaii etc
Please let me know on learning which etudes will let me play anything on classical guitar... Playing and learning pieces blindly deviate me from the real thing...
If you're comfortable with VL 1&2 then why not start Asturias? You could work on specific sections then put them together as you improve. If that is music you want to learn then break it up into small manageable pieces. If you'd like lessons via Zoom, let me know. Best wishes!
