Morning Bible Devotion: PSalm 119

Psalm 119 (Pe): Psalm 119 is the longest Psalm (twice the length of the next longest Psalm) and the longest chapter in the bible. It is composed of 22 sections with each section speaking eight verses. They are composed acrostically, meaning following the Hebrew alphabet. These 22 sections are in no particular order but can be considered as pearls on a necklace. Each is integral to the necklace but a beautiful component by themselves. This entire Psalm is about the Word of GOD and how important scripture is.
Pe: Verses 129 - 136 is the 17th section of Psalm 119. The psalmist reveals how much passion he has for GOD’s Word. So much so that the psalmist actually makes the case that GOD should protect the psalmist so the psalmist can continue to learn the Word and apply it, to be an example to the world.
