So, that's a song written by a NPC bard who had an artist's block due her mentor passing, and your character helps to motivate her into finishing this song dedicated to her mentor
That is such a great way of having a song in the game, it gives the emotional backstory if you ask the right questions.
Makes the song all the more impactful when to know what the artist intended.
I think the possibility of this song NOT existing in the game is frightening. Probably the most beautiful scene in the entire game.
And its completely missable. I bet less than 40 percent of players have heard this. There's actually an option to snatch the lute out of her hands, smash it over and over in front of her while she screams and cries and then you can just kill her and steal all of her clothes off of her body and leave her to rot in her undies splayed out on the floor, alone with nothing but 2 eviscerated squirrels for company. Or you can help her finish and listen to her song and tell her how beautiful it was. I Love BG3.@@dalehammers4425

The squirrels heckling her while she sings is epic, but you have to have animal talking active to even know lol. Most beautiful scene in the game, and them lil bastards are trash talking her the whole time. Makes you wanna go kick their friend...
This song literally stopped me in my tracks when I just randomly made it happen. I could only sit there and be emotional. I can't remember the last time that happened during a game.
Awesome to see Knight of honor being mentioned, was my favorite childhood game for a few years, music being a big part of why. I had the same reaction as you when I looked him up.
I believe Borislav did both the music and the sound effects for it. If you listen to both soundtracks, you can definitely tell its the same composer, with the medieval theme and all. As an added bonus, he is the one somewhat famous person how shares the same first name as me. No bias here I promise :)
I would also recommend the underdark soundtrack from bg3. Some really creative a disturbing soundscapes in that.
