    I just subscriped to your channel due to your very structured and not overloaded way of explaining! Very good informations about the IP adress format! Thank you!

    Your way of explaining is wonderful and truly engaging, almost like using the 'effortlessly understandable' approach. Thank you, my friend, and I wish you continued success!

    Nice and detailed video. I look forward to more presentations with Addons. In the future, you can make presentations with the integration and automation of devices. I'm a beginner in HA and I'm looking for such explicit presentations, I understand them better. I know that presentations with devices are more expensive for you, but a beginner like me looks for them and appreciates them. Good luck. 👏👏👏

      Thanks a lot for your kind words 😄
      Do you mean files from your windows machine are accessible in Home Assistant?
      With this mechanism then.. no. This is the other way around. You can access HA files from your machine.
      There are other mechanisms with which that could be possible. I'll explore it and maybe make a video about it.

      This samba guide you provided was easy and clear so I set it up anyway but I was looking for a way to add my music collection on external drive .. I have my home assistant running on a 128gb ssd and I know I can add music to the media folder but didn't know if that degrades the drive..basically trying to use it for music assistant, thank you for replying 🙏

      @@xbox360benji may be to point you to a direction for a solution.. there like NAS drives you can create that can be accessed in both HA and your PC. I know home assistant now provides mounting NAS drives.

    Sir how can I get my home assistant ip address

      You can get your home assistant ip address from your router.
      You will have to login to your router and check what devices are connected to it..

      @@SmartHomeCircle I have the samba add-on configured, but I want to share a different folder, how can I do that?

    • @SmartHomeCircle
      @SmartHomeCircle Місяць тому

      Usually when you try to connect via smb on the PC, it asks you which folder you want to connect.

      @@SmartHomeCircle The problem is that most of the space is on a different partition, so that, I cannot share it. Maybe the only solution would be to merge partitions

      @SmartHomeCircle Місяць тому

      @@kauexx ohh . I think you tried to reclaim the remaining space as a separate partition. I think its better to merge the partitions as you mentioned.
