@@nathanielvault7029 lol having quick wit and being a great heel manager isn't =/= paul heyman wannabe. they have distinctly different approaches. don callis almost always talks in kayfabe even on podcasts, is always blurring what's real and what's not, don't always have to shout during promos, is hella funny, and so on.
it's not so hard to understand that there are other fantastic and charismatic managers in this day and age.
Impact is so underrated. They've been back for years now. Great segment!

After Sami delivered his message, I think Don Callis may have realized how screwed Kenny Omega is at Slammiversary. Sami is the one man in Impact he wanted to keep away from Kenny Omega and the World Title. He knows when it comes down to it, Sami is just as crazy and unpredictable as Jon Moxley. He’s maybe even a little crazier.
Hey Kenny’s never faced a man like Sami, and yes I agree, he’s crazy af, I’d wonder what the Good Brothers or the Young Bucks are gonna do from there lmaoo

Kenny Omega is a gifted athlete, however Roman Reigns is presented as a serious threat and carries himself in a powerful way. A true bad ass.
Kenny has carried himself as a Frat boy. His history with the bullet club, and even now with former members and Don Callus.
AEW has a better tag team division, but the women’s division needs a lot of work to get to WWE’s level. Or even Impacts women’s division. AEW is building a good mid card division, but the TNT title needs to change

Full honesty, I think the opposite - I’ve been saying for a while that AEW needs to improve its commentary, and making Callis the Heel Colour Commentator would be an excellent change (because as much as I love JR, he really just needs to be allowed to retire in peace already...)
