I went to this one on vacation. The show wasn’t working, but I loved it there. They said they were waiting on a part to come in.

what you used to visit here as a child?
I'm 20 years old and have lived in Amarillo all my life. This place was the ticket when I was a kid. Then I got food poisoning and never went back, at least I never ate there again. I still see the place while I'm out and about doing work; it's a wonder the place is still standing. I haven't seen a real crowd there in just shy of a decade. Nice vid tho; real nostalgia
I’m 32 years old, also from Amarillo. Lived here all my life (except 4 years in the army). I remember going to this place as a kid as well and running around and playing so hard I’d sleep all day and night. I haven’t been back since I was like maybe 10. My 5 year old daughter asks me to take her there whenever we drive by it. I just tell her that they only have 1 game. Haha.
Hey Sets! Just wanted to let you know that this location got the Jumper trampolines. I'm a bit worried if they're going to do the 2.0 remodel, so If it is about to, guard the place with fans.
As of now, there's 18 1-stages (though there could be less because CEC locations are remodeling out of nowhere)

Wow what customer service. I swear this generation has no clue how to interact with actual people and it's sad.
I know so many that would love this job and excel at it, so I'm not sure why they hired this kid??
@fledgeking4831 I'm gonna go out on a limb and say, like most places that don't have a lot of staff, it's probably harder to get hired on there than you think. The girl probably just was given the job and hates it or thinks she is above it. That or she just has zero social skills.

@@justinludwig3995I would have to agree with what you said there and hard to get on places and if it's not that or it could also be that plus maybe someone didn't pay attention much to the training videos like they should have and orientation
When I was a kid it was ALWAYS full especially during birthday parties. The large seating was great because we could have all the space we wanted with large groups without infringing on the people around us. I haven't been there in close to a decade at this point so I'm not sure if it fills up anymore though
Taking my daughter there for her birthday in october. Hoping the band is able to play for her 🙃

I worked at CEC a little over 15 years ago, from what I remember the shows run every 30 minutes. But I worked at a top performing store, where training videos were filmed, if that means anything lol

when my daughter and I went to the CEC summer tour in Dallas to see Bella Bunny we met the Amarillo CEC store manager and she said they still had the band at her store. I just hope they are still there
Hey im maggie and I worked there at this location a couple months ago, and the reason why they weren't preforming is because they where broken and they said the where gonna "fix" it months before I joined, it wasn't until after I left the job is when they finally fix them, now they sync up with the music videos. And the red haired employee has disabilities, so the only thing she could do was wipe down tables, that also why she didn't know
And the place does fill up to almost where all the tables are full on the weekends, sometimes starts at noon or 3, week days are mostly dead, especially when school starts

Oh man this is totally awesome I was looking on Google maps and just found out that there is a Chucky cheese only about 30 mi from me and they have a full stage show with all the animatronics on it kind of like in here I think it's the same one but the photo that was posted was only posted a year ago so hopefully they're still there and I can go and have some pizza and enjoy the show! 😎🙂

I'm still Loyal to the man and dog show though 😎🐶 but I have ate at Chucky's before in the 80s so I'm glad they're still around cause I like them too gotta give Chucky an his place an band some applause an support too
I didn’t even realize how many were around initially. I’m curious how many are left. Lived in Amarillo my whole life, still do, and I’m surprised to see how good condition everything is in. Haven’t been there in years though. I think the last time I went was 2014 or 2015 when my late buddy’s family was celebrating one of his siblings’ birthday and we enjoyed it at the time. I think that was the last time I went and that was it. Does kinda make me wish I enjoyed it more as a kid because I wouldn’t doubt if they eventually go out of business as a corporation and not just the Amarillo location. Though I could be wrong, so I don’t know.
The one in Springfield Monjust got the remodel. Went yesterday and the last thing they have left is the rest of the sign

Fun fact: Amarillo was supposed to get its Rockstar shirt and jeans in 2014/2015 but it passed the phase 4/5 remodel and also this location will not get 2.0 they say they will get rid of the animatronics until chuck e cheese is not a thing no more nice video.👍🏽
impossible, every store is getting 2.0 at some point.
@@WhoDidWhat17 look at Northridge their keeping their 2 stage even 2.0 same with Pineville pretty soon amarillo won't get 2.0 it will passed the 2.0 text and billings will survive properly to

@@TheClassicChuck1Pineville isn't confirmed to be getting the same treatment as Northridge (Northridge has been stated to be the only store to be keeping the stage once all is said and done regarding 2.0.), and the 2.0 initiative won't be over until at least the next few years, Amarillo will probably get it next year or 2025.

Ok idk if you will see this but CEC switched to Navori when they got their summer show, which is when Amarillo's stage got stuck in random mode. I'm assuming they haven't installed Navori properly. Bell, CA also has this problem.

I wish they auctioned off everything at Chuck E. Cheese when a restaurant closes. Why are they destroying their history? There is a bunch of big rabbit holes, but like, you have arcade games which no one cares about, and animatronics, which your entire fan base is. I know for a fact that the only views they are getting on UA-cam are the mascot costumes, and old animatronics videos and skits. At least let us preserve your history! The company just wants to disappear. Also, what the heck was that Cec press conference about? Did they randomly decide to admit the animatronics were popular and just, decide to keep them right after the fnaf movie?
