Went to a Fantomas concert back in 2004, and The Locust (one of my very favorite bands) had declined the gig (they were touring with Fantomas at the time, but due to ethical reasons don't do venues owned by Clear Channel--for obvious reasons.) The band which took their spot changed my fucking life. It was Melt Banana. Just brilliant.
My knee is blown the fuck out but I went to a show of theirs for the fetch album tour cycle. I could not stay outa the pit. This is an worsened injury I'm happy to have:]
Lol I saw a comment on another video from a guy talking about some dude blowing his knee out in the mosh pit when they started playing "Lost Parts Stinging Me So Cold" must've been you he was talking about! xD
@KilburnDelux oh thanks for appreciating my taste in music, I happily drooled a little while jetting around in my rocket-driven wheel chair to Melt Banana's discography. *spins happily*
@MrCowboyJesus - Funny you should ask. They are supposedly touring the states in October (!), and I can tell you, they are among the best live bands I've ever seen.
@Plissken07 The funny thing is that every member of this band is really technically proficient with their instrument, and avant-garde modern art music is considered to be in very good taste in aesthetic philosophy.
@bruceleedisciple it's amazing because nothing else sounds like it...I'm so tired of the same shit over and over, Melt Banana fans are the same way, they like it because it's full of surprises. But you can still kick his ass for being friends with you.
"I'm looking for the best American beef, give me 50 burgers" XD that quote gets me every time
"Can I help you?"
"I sure hope so!"
gets me every time
To think that this is actually one of the more accessible songs from their early days. It's still crazy as fuck.

This music makes me feel more ADHD than I am
Because normal people make great music I know it sucks
awesome video!!!
This has a feeling of College Rock to it, even though musically the two genres couldn't be further apart without changing instruments
Good shit! Really getting into melt banana. I like the more grindcore influenced tracks however.
Exactly! Couldn't have said it better!!
