Basically the ancient Greeks who came up with astrology they did a great job mapping and calculating celestial body movements, but missed an important phenomenon. Precession is the slight wobble the earth has as it rotates. You can feel the same wobble if you spin a bike wheel between your hands. It’s a tiny wobble, completely imperceptible to the ancient Greeks, but in the past 2500 years or so that tiny wobble has changed everyone’s sign. The dates changed in real life but the astrological calendar stayed the same. There are websites that will show you what your sign actually is. Personally I was born smack dab in the middle of Virgo according to the traditional astrological calendar, but if you go to the actual day I was born and look at how the actual starts were aligned on that day, I was am a Leo.
