That was fast. Very concerned by the dialogue in this movie, but if it is actually a rebellion against the quintessentons it might be good, especially since this is the largest-scale war we’ve seen in a transformers movie since 1986.
I mean we do have to remember that this is made for kids to sell toys, so they had to appeal to them while the rest of us get live action serious movies apparently.
@@tylerprime9555 I mean the live action films were made for kids to sell toys, as was the 1986 film. They all HAVE comedy, this one’s comedy is just… bad.
@@BeskarDevil Sure, but at the end of the day, Hasbro still wants to make movies for the next generation of kids that'll grow up on stupid things like this, we all grew up on our own version of animated comedy movies that have unfunny jokes in it only to grow up and realize it's bad comedy, this isn't any different.
@@tylerprime9555 i mean theres still a difference between well placed jokes and putting a joke in every other minute to keep the kids entertained, thinking they cant get engrossed in a well thought out story
@BeskarDevil it's better than some "jokes" from Bayverse. Also movie still might be good, many animated movies are marketed as simple comedies but then turns out to be more than that
Idk if it’s the Gotg effect but after multiple tf movies having this more orchestral trailer songs (AoE and Tlk in particular straight up sounding like horror movies) it feels weirdly nice to hear a chill rock song in one of this trailers yknow?

@@SilviaLikesCherries I'm a huge Transformers fan. I like what was shown so far along with Comodin Cam though I feel I'm in the minority of fans who are not acting like this movie is crap and rushing to pull the RUINED FOREVER lever.
I think it looks really fun. I like it! Plus, Orion Pax is Optimus Prime, but younger. So it does kinda make sense that Peter Cullen ain’t voicing Orion Pax. I mean, I think I’ve heard stuff about him voicing Optimus Prime after Orion Pax *Transforms* into Optimus Prime. And if that’s the case, that’ll be awesome! Cause I love Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime. He’s my favorite Voice Actor for Optimus Prime. After all, he IS Optimus Prime :D
I think the first time I heard of this song and the Rolling Stones was that one Simpsons episode, "How I spent my strummer vacation" with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards among other rock stars. I'm still looking forward to the film anyway, after all there's more to it than meets the eye.
At first I thought this was just a generic classic rock/pop song that Hollywood puts in family film trailers, and while that kind of still is the case, knowing the name of the song and reading the lyrics, it actually kind of fits with Transformers, even if in a superficial way with things like the chorus/title, “Start Me Up”, being used to reference the fact these are basically robot cars, and some of the lyrics use car-related wording so it makes sense in that context. Also, within that context, you could argue that the lyrics (minus the last few lines) could be referencing how these characters are discovering their new transforming abilities, and are learning how to “unlock their full potential” as Alpha-Trion said! (And yes as I listened I realized the song was just using car vocabulary to describe…something else… but I’m just not gonna think about that lol😅)
I don't know why people are so critical of the trailer alone. The movie hasn't been released yet and people are already complaining. I'm just so curious, y'know? I started being a fan after DoTM came out, and maybe the Bayverse messed with my perception of the Franchise, but I do think the movie (Transformers One) is going to be a solid one. So I just want an explanation on why y'all are critical?
