Wow! Mummy is so young and very beautiful, you took after your Mum, infact that soup is really medicinal, with all those ingredients,no wonder Ondo people are very good looking, energetic and live longer in old age, my ex teachers while in secondary always paint a haven of paradise in our minds whenever they are discussing about their trips to Ondo, thanks once again great mum and daughter
@@adamsc9049 there is nothing like Esan version its an ESAN soup, it’s like saying the Yoruba version of Ewedu. Lol 😂 🤣. Black soup is an ESAN soup that ORIGINATED from Edo state and it’s a FAC, which is unarguable. You can goggle (Wikipedia) to educate yourself ☺️.
Yes, we eat Obe Marugbo in Ondo , maybe it’s something you just learnt today. I’m aware of the origin in Esan. There’s also many other soups , such as Ishapa, Obe Bokolisa and pupuru
@@joye5761 ewedu is from oyo and it’s not really a favorite for someone born and bred in Ondo. Unless they were raised in other parts. Read my post above, I’m not here to argue about origin when I’m already aware of it. The truth still remains that despite the origin, it’s made a different way than how my Esan or Bini brothers make it.

Black Soup is originally from Edo State and the traditional food of the Esan people. This version looks very good.
The Esan version is made differently with different leaf, I’ve had both before.

@@adamsc9049 I am not arriving about how you make it, just stating a fact that is an Esan soup, now that is simple.

Help How die we get these ingredients in UK?

Yes, we eat it black soup with our own ingredients. We are brothers historically according to my grandfather.
Their are lots more to add I can’t pronounce in English but knows them by seeing them
We ondo people have the best recipe for black soup so far
