I loved the Justice of Kings as well. The author is a lawyer so I found the conversations about law and the ethics of law in the book to be really fascinating. And yes, this was a debut novel. Possibly the best debut I've read so far this year.
I always get SO excited when I see a new vlog pop up ☺️❤️
Currently reading Daughter of the Moon Goddess. It is absolutely fantastic
Ooh I just bought that!
ahh i'm excited to hear your thoughts on daughter of the moon goddess! i thought it was such a nice read :))
That dress is soooo cute 😍
The fact that Clay had never eaten at Panera before, when there are CLEARLY Paneras in your area is just TRAGIC. Of course, I am horribly biased, since as a Missourian, I have been eating at Panera Bread for so long, that I remember the days when it was called St. Louis Bread Co, even outside of the minds of Very Determined residents of St. Louis.
I loooved Mysterious Benedict Society, my mom's friend worked at the library and gave me an ARC of it that I was obsessed with. The Disney+ show is really cute it brought me right back!
If you like that style of fantasy flashback storytelling definitely recommend the chorus of dragons series by Jenn Lyons
I already bought tickets to our Renaissance Festival here in Kansas City, but it doesn’t happen until September!! We love going each year.
The renaissance fair looked so good!
You all look like you’ve completely settled into your new house and I’m so happy for you!
That little clip of Buc-ee’s made me so happy! I went a couple months ago and I miss it!!
the justice of kings sounds so interesting premise wise, i’ve been needing to get back into fantasy and start some new fantasy stories! as you’re back in austin, you should try the beans from Redbud Roasters in San Marcos texas! my coffee shop uses the beans and they’re a great local and woman owned roaster!
Omg! I love that dress
I've been curious about Daughter of the Moon Goddess! That cover is beautiful!
Love this video and your amazing channel please stay safe and enjoy your reading 📖 xxx
thank you!
@@PeruseProject no worries 😉
I just gotta say that the best Indian food place in Austin is two doors down from that OneTaco. 10/10 recommend their dinner buffet. 👀💕
noted!!!
Chessy is my fashion icon atm
I’m curious: do you use Thriftbooks to buy your books? They are FANTASTIC and I love the look of a well-loved book! ❤️
omg Thriftbooks is the BEST!!!
nah i got my text books from there. brought a book that was suppose to be good condition and it came water damaged with a mystery brown spot on it
I love that you have an entire house now but there’s still the classic book stack near the TV. 😂👌🏻
I ADORE the bed frame you and Clay assembled!!! Taste ✨✨
Great vlog I believe we have ren fairs here in Massachusetts never been to one
Along the same lines as Justice of Kings, highly recommend CJ Sansom's Shardlake series - set during Henry VIII's reign with lots of atmosphere and political intrigue
The hair styled is top notch! As usual loveeeeee your vlogs!!!!
Yay vlog!! You’re my favorite vlogger
I love thiftshops and find books and everything 💚
I literally have that stripped shirt in my closet, you look amazing in it!!!
Scarborough? Too nice.
SO EXCITED!! 💞💞💞✨✨✨❤️💞💞✨✨❤️❤️
Love Renaissance Fairs! Have fun!
The bed is going to be pushed against the wall - Voila!
I laughed way to hard at that one.
Really enjoyed this reading vlog. The book sounds really interesting.
Ugh yes the ultimatum was so addictive 😂
I think you're also missing the Eldest Curses book in the Shadowhunter Chronicles series. I didn't see them in your bookshelf tour.
I want to go to a RenFaire! I have only been to one.
matilda is so cute :’)
Hello from British Columbia Canada
🇨🇦👋👍♥️ moon goddess cover really pretty
OMG you and your friend look and sound SO similar!
Request for a RHONJ wrap up once you’ve watched it cause it’s wild x
I was so obsessed with the Mysterious Benedict Society as a kid! I would reread it all the time, I also read the second one a lot. Are there more in the series or is it just those two??
I think there are like 5 now including a prequel!
Where did you get your light by your couch? it is amazing
its from west elm!
Give a try dragon mage. Its an indie book and everyone seems to like it. Im bying mine soon.0o0
Awesome vlog!
I love RenFests.
Love the vlog and the daily life mixed with reading. Also that dress at the end of the vlog is so pretty, where is it from?
Wait. A minute- Clay has never eaten at Penera before?? I love Penera 😊
Love it 👍👌✌😇😃😘😍
Greetings from Peru!
Lol i was too happy to know your friends name was Violet...same as her hair.
Im surprised you havent reacted to Brandon Sandersons news. In his video "It's Time to Come Clean"
I’m still trying to get daughter of the moon goddess 😭hopefully I can get it soon.
Good afternoon xoxo 😘 ✨❤️❤️✨✨✨❤️✨❤️❤️✨✨❤️❤️❤️✨✨❤️❤️✨
Never understood what’s with America and Renaissance fairs 😅
I have a very important question! At the 5minute mark, what CHONKY book is on the table behind you? Its the one with the red bowl on top. The spine looks STUNNING
Based on the size and colours, I think it's Little Women, the puffin in bloom collection. I believe it's sat on top of Anne of green gables from the same collection. It might seem weird that I know this but they are very popular editions! 😅
@@georgieh7351 thank you! not weird at all cause it was very helpful!
Have tou read “Froom Blood and Ash” I just need and opinion, because I saw so many people talking about it, but I am not liking it as much as they seem to like
I am really into the romance, but that’s all
Hi
💕💕💕
I have never read any of the Cassandra Claire books. And I have been curious about them if they are worth reading ? And are they re-readable again? As I love re-reading books if I really love them.
Loved the mortal instruments when I was 11 or sth like that, but tried rereading them with 20 and nothing made sense anymore. So these are probably books for younger readers.
But I still like the infernal devices series so maybe try this one
Regan will you be reading and vlogging The Bone Shard Emperor soon?!
hopefully!!
Where did you get the shelf behind you at 4:07? I've been looking for something similar and am having a hard time
Regan did you buy books from Paris😍...
I actually didn't!! I am shocked writing this
❤️📚
Curious as to what you think about Kaikeyi. It got such good reviews but I wasn’t impressed at all.
Was it just me but i thought you cut your hair super short from the thumbnail!! 😅
Me too I clicked v fast to see haha
haha I see it now!!
Me!!! I was looking for this comment
"Sponsored by Pango Books" literally while I'm checking threads there with this video over it 😂
Though when you're a seller this whole "like-new books super cheap" thing is difficult to actually make a worthwhile side hustle, so please don't assume if you go there to shop that everything will be or *should be* so cheap. 🙂
Thats true!!!! I will keep this in mind for the future
@@PeruseProject thanks! I mean, I'm doing more or less okay there but I do see that a lot of people are struggling because their books only sell really low (I have some that I can afford to let go for very little, others I will be patient with or simply not sell there--and some I've sold for a good amount) and they're spending money on shipping materials and gas to go to the post office... But I really think it is a great place to shop, because you can support an individual and you get pictures of the actual book you're getting in a way that, like, Amazon used&new doesn't support... And it's just a fun place to be, talk to people about books, all that. I really do appreciate your talking about Pango because it's definitely been helpful for me selling there (and buying a little) and it's definitely been a learning experience, lol!
😻
Why is it called renaissance if it's about medieval times? o.O
