After crying for about a whole afternoon and evening while making this, I actually decided to post it, because Shay could not be part of my last death tribute video and I wanted to do something for her character as well.
So, this is a goodbye to her, a thank you to Lauren German who brought to life such an amazing character and a goodbye to the show as well. I seldom leave shows because my favorite character is dead, but in this case I'm beyond pissed and I doubt I'll ever be able to reconcile with CF's choices. Shay was killed not because Lauren German wanted out (I WOULD'VE BEEN TOTALLY FINE WITH THAT) but because they wanted to add drama to Dawson's and Kelly storyline, because Dawson was about to get happily married AND YOU CAN'T HAVE THAT IN A DRAMA OMG LET'S KILL HER BEST FRIEND.
Therefore, I'm not really looking forward to a season of Gabby angsting over how she cannot be happy with Casey when she should've died in Shay's place and Kelly's manpain and obvious break-up with Lindsay - so, as much as I love all the characters in the show, I don't want to follow another story of a lesbian killed as a plot device to make the other characters grow cough*Naomi&SkinsFire*cough
So, fuck you writers for a very bad choice.
This was so beautiful. I'm glad you decided to upload it. This whole thing has been really hard on me, and I'm glad I'm not alone. I don't think I'm going to stop watching the show, but it's going to be very, very painful for me to keep going.

Wow, this is perfect! Thank you for making it :) and I so agree with you about the point of her death. Shay was the only reason I still watched CF and I also decided to stop watching the show. I mean, of all the people they could choose to let go, they choose shay! It's absolute bullshit. But your vid is absolutely perfect :)

I just assumed that that Lauren German wanted an out from the show but if she didn't then /what the fuck/ was that writing choice. SERIOUSLY. You have an entire house of people to kill and you choose literally 1 of the 2 women in the whole show and the only lesbian. Yeah, makes fucking sense. -.-
