They are always like this. This is nothing new. I've been following people leaving Scientology from even before UA-cam existed. I read books on the topic and biographies and being nasty to each other whether they are still active members or SP's, they are mean towards each other. I can't even imagine what good they are supposed to do for mankind? The abuse is way worse than what I've experienced or read about in any religion. This is just an aggressive culture.
No other "church" does this publicly and it blows my mind that this, the hiring investigators, stealing phone records, tapping phones etc isn't enough to get them no longer labeled as a church. Or have any consequences for at least the illegal stuff they do

I don't think he is necessarily enjoying it. No one loves hearing people having a go at you. I think it is hurtful to hear people you grew up with, badmouthing you. They grew up with this abuse, and it follows them long after they leave. Looking at Aron's face and chest, turning red and explaining what really happened shows how upsetting it is for him. I feel sad for Aaron and all who left or are stuck in this abuse.

I used to wonder who they made these videos for but then I realized it might be the paranoia about connections that drives it. It reinforces disconnection for the member and critic targeted. It reinforces that there's something wrong with you if Scientology doesn't work.

Wow! You can really tell how normalised violence is within Scientology when you hear Aaron discussing what are genuinely violent incidents with humour! It’s actually really hard to imagine Aaron throwing someone into drywall, it’s a bit strange hearing him justify the actions but it just serves to drive home how deep the brainwashing goes when people are in the organisation… It’s just dreadful that they continue to attack him but he handles it so very well - Much as they claim is he reactive and combative, we see daily just how healthy his reactions are, and how his combativeness is user for ethical reasons!
About the lies in these videos: they are purposely vague because if they know if they give too many details any SeaOrg members could do the research and find out the stories are lies. If they are vague they feel like they’re more believable.
Also it's really difficult to remember a lot of details so is easier to keep up the lie if it's more general.
This one struck me as sad. It was really half-hearted, so obviously phoned in until it met the requirements and she can be safe from being punished for knowing you. I mean compare this to the others out there. In a decent amount of them their rage is extremist and palpable. This poor lady just wants her church not to torment her. Also there''s years of content on this channel where you've said all these things and more. You've never been afraid to talk about what your life was really like then.

ive been a supervisor/manager for a Govt Org the last 10 years or so. I would never call someone 'my employee'' I hate when people call me the boss or say 'I work for you'. Cause last time I checked my name isn't on their Check!
Ugh... abusive is a good word to describe what happened with selling the basics. We had to do it at class V orgs as well, unclufong us OOTs at Flag in 2006. We had to sell stuff after course was over at night. Such a nightmare and a lot of people left staff and even Scientology as a result of the awful pressure.
Always smile when these people are attacking you Aaron, because then you KNOW you are getting under their skin!

I'm glad you feel bad about clicking that membership button. I followed a couple of folks for a long time and loved their video's and when it became a full time job for them it all changed...they began to be more concerned about adding up the dollars and so forth...the content suffered and they changed. Contests to meet with them if they joined and so forth...it became rather narcissistic really...so I'm with you Aaron...don't change. Monetizing the channels is common sense... you put a lot of time in here...but the membership thing is another level. Keep your motives pure and you will keep doing okay here. THANKS.

I don't know how these people can sleep at night. I know the SPTV crew suggests that we don't attack these people, but that's sometimes difficult. This was so interesting to listen to. I have watched a few of your videos, but for some reason, this one gave me a unique view of the minute craziness that goes on within the system of Scientology. The micro level this goes to is so bizarre, but makes sense if you are not really trying to help lift others, but keep them tied down and under control.

I got slapped in the face by another Sea Org member. And it was very shocking because I didn’t expect that to happen. I was probably 15 at the time. I was in the Sea Org and I was getting verbally abused but that was the first time I was hit.

It’s also really disconcerting that as a whole they fail to recognize that even if these behaviors were remotely true, there are plenty enough stories of the culture of violence in of itself. All the ex Scientologists discuss this in depth and in detail. The willingness to be so devoid of reality and the condescending attitude to anyone outside of Scientology is just baffling.
