Rargh remember accurate att style > aggressive in 99 defense fights to the death. And att pots > def pot > str pot. The more often you hit the more often, he eats the and less often he hits you. Atleast when decent armor is worn.

Did some DPS calculation - the results - Rarghs DPS with only rune scimi was 1.01605 and Links - 0.96772 (with snake boots it would be 0.9601 for Link) - like I said, Rarghs DPS does not include the poison damage. #teamrargh

Yeah that and Rargh's super attack pretty well explains the fight, a dragon battleaxe sounds great and all but it's not like THAT much better than the rune scim accuracy wise.

They had nearly identical defensive bonuses even tho the gear gap was massive Tbh link only dropped himself 9 attack levels from 99 for 90 attack but gained to like 119-120str and with his super def pot that he double sipped at the start for the max def pot of 119 it’s honestly Iimprobable that the spec lost him the fight. What actually lost him the fight was the combination of rargh rng on the hits being more accurate than he ever should have been. The poison. And rargh having an actual damaging spec. Link should have won out but rargh is hitting thru higher def bonuses and the same defense level boosted. There are a number of factors that could’ve lost him the fight but here’s the thing too all those attack levels link lost from the spec were already restored like halfway thru the fight and it made no difference.

Still cool content-wise to see the dragon battle axe & its spec get used! Link maybe should'a thought it through to not use it - but not his fault Jagex makes an unbalanced game
-10% accuracy vs. a super defense pot is gonna cause a lot of 0s even with a more accurate weapon. In fact both sides were hitting a lot of 0s since the armor was pretty strong all around on top of super defense. Poison won this fight. Moral of the story, if the game gives you an antidote always bring it 'cause that poison is gonna eat through 6 or 7 pieces of food on its own.

man rargh sounded so defeated when link mentioned the acb.
Checking both setups DPS, it makes a lot of sense why rargh would win. without even factoring in the negative attack link got, and without the dds specs/poison, its already rargh at 1.03 dps to links 1.182. If you just include the p++, that's about another .4 dps without even counting the spec damage, so rargh's average dps is about 1.43-1.5 and links is a little lower than 1.18. that 2 tick difference between the weapons makes such a difference.
Where do you calculate DPS like that?
My DPS calc is a bit different i got 1.01 (rargh) to .94 (link) thats also using piety (i know its not on the whole time) super atk/def for rargh and super def for link. but still not including the poison/dagger, or links spec. So it wasnt a shock to me that rargh won... as it was getting ready to start i decided to do a dps calc out of curiosity due to that slow b-axe
@@whostine5420 you need to put in super str for link since he used the daxe special, which is a better super str that gives -atk/def. You can't properly calc the -atk but even so he barely has more dps.

Makes sense that rargh won, rarghs dps was 1.2 roughly (without the poison added in) while links was a .99, that dragon battleaxe + Poison is what killed him for sureee

Disagree w link rargh has better gear. Only a 5 defense difference at the end of the day and battle axe is slow. Add to that poison and super attack pot.

Link started with 44 more hitpoints than Rargh. Therefore, in order to win, Rargh needed to do at least that much more damage in the same amount of time.
Poison did 150 damage.
Poison was the reason Rargh won this fight.
Poison seems to be the new meta
Rargh had 5 mantas in the inv + 63 hp. That’s 168 hp worth. Without the poisoned dagger, he would have also had an extra manta ray in the inventory and just used the rune scim. Even without poison, Rargh would have won.

Zalcano drops depend on how much damage you deal, best to kill in groups of 4 , as an example rune ore drop can be like 15ores. Just head to any other world that's not the zalcano world and you will find people doing it. It's camped by gold farmers.

I wonder why OSRS doesn't sponsor OSRS players like RARGH who end up taking 'Raids Shadow Legends' Sponsors....And I think its because it makes osrs look even better when the game the content creator is actually playing is osrs while 'advertising' a comparable game like 'Raids Shadow Legends'. Which makes it feel like OSRS is just way better anyway
It was rarghs 118 attack from pot, versus link getting negative attack from the dbaxe only having 80 attack. This completely negated links higher accuracy having dragon over rune. With rune having lower str(hitting lower) but hitting faster, vs dbaxe hitting higher but slower, the dps output must be very similar. If link didnt spec and if rargh didnt have a super attack pot wouldve been link claiming another W. Sad day to be #TeamLink
Praying mage vs KBD actually does nothing. You’ll take way less dmg praying melee in melee range.
Link really has to learn that its not bad rng. This was a long fight. Rng balanced out. The speed of the scimmy and the consistant poison that did around 100 dmg wins this fight for rargh every time. If he keeps going 'I don't understand your rng is insane' he won't learn for next time...
Tip for Rargh:
As you probably know, poison is much better in longer fights. This fight was obviously going to have good defensive gear and 25+ mantas, so it probably is correct to bring an antipoison even knowing that in the end he didnt have it. Your poison did 100+ dmg, so even if its ~20% chance for him to have poison its worth sacrificing 1 manta for it.
It can be hard being team Link. Cmon Jagex, give the guy ateast ONE good RNG fight!

Here's a cool concept kind of like a battle royale item search. You have 15 people who have different items from low to high tier and you have to complete their quest whether it is cooking and fishing a lobster in the wildy to soloing Graardor. The difficulty of the quest has nothing to do with the items so if you did a difficult quest you may just a get a Bronze Linky Boy. Food for thought that's all. Oh and these people will be hidden somewhere in Gielinor.

Link gets great drops like dragon platelegs, maybe a D longsword in his first few kills, and an awesome food drop. He might even get like a sara sword or something. Maybe a bandos chestplate?
And Rargh gets just a basic setup and loses horribly.

The d baxe is actually a pretty crap weapon. You get 2/3 the hits of a scimitar, and the rune scimitar is exceptional as far as scimitars go compared to the same tier weaponry. Comparing the bonuses, the fight was pretty evenly matched without the super attack potion. With it, Rargh had the advantage.
Do you guys just look for the shittiest sponsors or do they email you. Raid shadow legends is a shit mobile game. Raycon headphones are worth about $20, not the $110 they're asking.

Poison definitely got him. Poison did 153 damage during that fight. and i kinda flipped through it so it might have done more. Poison did the equivalent of almost 7 mantas. Link probably wins if he brought that anti-poison he got.

Doesn't spec regen faster than stats? I'm pretty sure link drained himself before he was recovered. I seem to recall that was possible when training at armored zombies a million years ago. That would decimate your attack...

Got quite some refreshing ideas for you guys, there is this game you can with the npc Robin where you cannot draw a death rune near the ectophial tp, also a possibility to guess the GE price of some (un)popular items the which is closest wins the item for finally battle. I'm sure you guys figure something out I would definitely enjoy to see the first idea and I'm sure alot of your viewers would we love the randomness
I can't understand entirely why they are so surprised. The battle axe attack speed is just so much slower. Speed wins, not to mention the spec lowers accuracy so of course he can't hit. That and poison... Fight was over before it started.
Hey rargh what about a hardcore iron-man challenge, both you and link have to complete as many quests as possible and you have to use quest reward items to fight with a full inv of sharks. Great video by the way!
So mad chaps ele didnt drop the Super strength. That torstol drop coulda saved you the inventory spots by turning your super set into a SCB. Technically even had the zalcano shards for divine if you thought the 10hp was worth ot

Link, you hit so bad because of the Battleaxe spec, which you did twice. It drains your attack, and that made the difference. You don’t hit often, but when you do, you hit hard, and that’s not as good dps as Kins.

How about 2-3 hours 20 times exp so you track your exp in say attack and once u get like 1 20th of the exp needed for 40 then you can equip rune swords etc want to hunt some slayer mobs need to get the slayer level using the monsters hp etc dont need to get tasks just say u can kill the start mobs wolves etc then just use there hp as exp as slayer works times that by 20 for exp gained ive made it sound more complicated than it is after the time then the usual fight with whatever you have unlocked also unlocking the ability to use a item only means you can use it you still have to loot/make/buy it
Do 1000kills challage. You can kill bosses, mobs, etc every kill count 1 kill. Bosses =1kill mobs =1kill just for the fun of it
Link has godly RNG in the challenge portion, but shit RNG in the fight. I feel like this is a law that must be followed every challenge.
Pvp suggestion you have 2 hours to get gear however you want. at the reveals after seeing the item your opponent can choose to guess how you got the item. Which monster you killed shop you bought it from or if you made it yourself etc. If you guess correctly you get an upgrade in that gear slot if you guess incorrectly your opponent gets an upgrade. Ex: link and rargh both reveal a rune scim link guesses correctly that rargh got it from fire giants link gets a d scim rargh guesses incorrectly that link got his rune scim from fire giants link upgrades his d scrim to a whip
