Depends on you you sleep and what you do during the day if you sweat a lot then it will last a couple days but if you keep up with it should last about a week or 5 days
The murrays beezwax only feel slimy if it melts cause you left it open too long or in a hot temperature.when I do braids for my clients by the time the appointment is finished the top gets slimy you gotta let it get hard again or get a fresh jar.

Get the black beeswax to cover it
You have spray your oil sheen spray over it and the white flakes will disappear. Also, it will add a nice shine to your hair. Hope this helps 💛
