Hey guys, just wanted to share some tips for you guys on how I plan to use the fresh start economy to my advantage, this isn’t by any means all the ways, but I wanted to give you an idea or two on how to get started.
I plan to race to 60 and then do the farming for gold through leveling gathering professions and refining professions. I feel like it is easier to survive at a higher level while marked for pvp for the bonus luck on everything you farm / loot too. Definitely going to be incorporating crops/berries/nests as you mentioned. I never leveled fishing on my previous char so i plan on doing it this time around since you speak so highly of it. :P
Well, you have certainly perfected the coin making process in New World and have provided TONS of helpful guides over this past year of New World. I expect that you will quickly bank coin on a fresh server without much effort at all :)
I had everything 200+ except for furnishing and weaponsmithing. It is very hard to just start that grind over again smh… but I did it. Havin fun just chillin lol
I deleted this game after my gear was lost during a teleport big and Amazon didn't care. But when I heard the fresh servers I have come back after a nice 6 month break. Thanks to your guide I will chill enjoy the story and get that coin. I have to add the progression is much better and I feel better equipped this play through. It might be because I am experienced this time but feels much better anyways.
theres no reason to rush crafting on fresh..... wont have t5 stations for probly two or more weeks because now there is no reason to do town boards so towns will not be getting upgrades anywhere near the pace you need for these crafting mats to matter in any significant way
t4 houses require 30 territory standing this is near impossible to get without hardcore farming an area or mainly town board missions this means town boards will still be done and likely will have tier 5 pretty quickly.
Took me over 150h to get to level 60, but I made bank, kept on doing gathering around, and even had skinning at 200+ when i was level 55. By the time i hit 60, I had good gold to get pretty good gear, after that kept griding and getting better and better gear until i hit few really good stuff.
I spent the first day and a half focusing on making money on FSS and I must say that I have found infinitely more success selling things that low levels do not have access to. Reagents, Motes, Etc have essentially no value on the TP.
reagents will take a huge spike once a few more move into tier 4 then tier 5 crafting, atm limited by work stations, but hey man whatever's selling atm, farm that for sure
Great tips, will definitely be checking a few of these spots out ! Question - are there things you can farm to sell, if you hit lvl 60 fast? That can make tons of coin if you're the first one?
I have only been playing around 50 hours now, levelling an account on a legacy server (curr. 42). Should I ditch that character and restart on a fresh start server?
I'm literally going to laugh at everyone rushing to 60 thinking there is an endgame waiting for them, I'm playing since release and my daily play is elite chest run in Brimstone zzzzzzzz and maybe a mutated dungeon, do not rush to 60 there is no real endgame waiting fur you.
True, Although those looking to pvp will have a huge advantage in wars. Smaller advantage in arena and opr, but still an advantage none the less. Pvpers are usually the most competitive so I think it's mostly them that will rush
There isn't much coin in FSS economy and with new tax changes coin gets burned alot! ppl will have little money to spend on stuff. Best way to make money in start is raw coin from quests and activities. Hit 60 ASAP and get that juicy coin from 3X daily faction quest in high level areas and expeditions. Don't waste your time gathering crap that no one will have money to spend on it!
LOL i mean you make videos and we are here to support you but these videos kill t he market or kill the buyer... 7.5K people have watched this, so now the markets are flooded with these things and drive the prices down. I was buying snail slime for like 20 a piece, a video came out about how to lv furnishing and guess what, someone bought it all and then relisted it at 70 a piece......
Well it is mostly because people take things literally, the idea behind video's like this is to show "how" to make gold, the principal, people message constantly about how they are broke and you can't make gold, these same idea's can be applied to almost anything in the game
@@5HeadSurvivalGaming Oh I know, people sit in game asking, what's the best weapon combo.. how about the combo you like to play.. Why people cant think for themselves i will never know.
My issue with this is that New World is really not a great game to play for economy. Early on with this game I realized you can either sit there grridng all your stats to 200 trying to make a few thousand gold per hour but then my friend who has never grinded a day in his life is like "do you want 50k? my bank is full" because he part of a guild which owns a territory. Even today he bought out materials from market and made 2 pieces of BiS armor worth 400k and 600k. That's like months of trying to make money in the pleb way. I just can't take the economy seriously in this game. and that's just the legitimate economy.
"He didn't grind a day", yet he has 200 lvl in a few professions, 3 trophies and his guild supposedly gave him gold for no reason even though as you say he didn't contribute much, since he didn't grind a day? Who are you trying to play here buddy?
ya its all a matter of play style, some get bored making coin early, and others rush in guns blazing having fun, then stomp and cry on forums about trophy rarity, and cost of crafting gear etc..
@@JasonVeil but already did the story, I don't get it. Just delete your bank and gear, what's grinding weapons and crafting all over again going to achieve? Waste of time
the grind is not that bad i stopped playing Nov 2021 and came back 2-3 months ago and I am pretty much at end game with like 1mil shards with a very close to BIS PVE gear and pvp
@@JasonVeil story yes. Economy will be fked up in record time by the same people that fked it up in the first place. I know tons of large company peeps rolling alts there. It's going to be way more populated by experienced players than new and returning players. Count on it.
@@Nzchimeran story mission line has been changed to feel massively different. It's an entirely new game for the early levels. Do you delete your maxed out toon to do it? Of course not. But as an ultra-casual alt just to experience the new system and leveling set up as a change of pace? Why not? Some returning and new players could use these tips to set themselves up for longer term sucess down the line. It's not for everybody. It's simply being offered as an alternative to all of the videos about "level at warp speed!!". That's the thing about games with a variety of ways to play - you get to choose what you enjoy doing and play that way. Feel free to NOT take up a spot on the new servers :)
Love the video, but my question is I have never ever had any luck leveling Life Staff and ANY other weapon. All magic weapons feel WEAK until at least 200 int. I see people using VG/LS but they both use different main stats to do their job(s). Well VG uses Focus but only for healing, and to solo you really need damage output. Guess my question is how do you stat your LF/VG and are you running a healer or DPS or hybrid. Thanks. Reason I ask is because I like magic weapons, but melee just handles 1000x better to me in this game and I die and take more time to kill things as a magic class than a melee class.
There’s no shortcut, I would say you have to enjoy the life staff playstyle of 1v1 pve battles with auto attack cancelling with your abilities for more dps. Work better with beacon, and orb as abilities. I came back to this game about a month ago and hit lvl 20 with VG a few days ago of using it off hand, I left before it was released. My life staff was lvl 20 early on being a healer tho. Good luck

I started freaking out for a second. Thinking the servers came out today and not tomorrow. Thank gord, and thank you for the tips!
No worries!
I woke up and thought it was the day also, lol
it is today, for Eu :D 6 hrs left

Any advice on how to go about leveling these life skills as a newbie? Which ones should I be focusing first?
Thanks for video! Now delete it please so no one else is doing this k thx ❤️
I can tell how selfish you are in real life
Haha please delete the video

"capitalize on their dreams" love it
Honestly level experience is the best part. World PvP before 60.

my fresh server is now about 7 hours old.. with windsward.. t5 stations.. just a heads up
You make some very good points. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and thank you for giving us ideas!
Thanks for watching!

Dont forget to gather with pvp on for even more content!
mann makes me wanna play on a fresh start now !

I fucking love fishing! I just throw on some tunes, and chill the fuck out for a couple hours.
Is it viable during skill level phase?
@@Cola_77 Its a good question, but I honestly have no idea. I didn't start doing it till after I originally hit 60.
@@GAMEFREAK330 nevertheless, thank you
@@Cola_77 Not a problem my good sir! Good hunting!
@@Cola_77 I got 200 fishing before I hit 60, doing the fishing quest at lvl 40 and having to run around shattered mountain to get fish was hilarious
So are you saying do this only, and not do story missions and other quests?
no, im saying, there is no reason to rush through story, take breaks and do this , you know ?
@@5HeadSurvivalGaming Yea, I got you. Gonna do faction missions big time along the way so I get bigger bags as well.
can someone send me the link of the map who supposed be in discerption, path to collect recourses ?
the link is the first line of the description, Resource map - www.aeternum-map.gg/
Great tips, will definitely be checking a few of these spots out !

well maybe recipes from elite chest runs,
awesome!

Nah, most tbh will return to legacy, they wont stay on FFS
Thanks! Will stick at it then :) (logs into Fae)
btw just so ytou know I LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! FISHING

Rush to 60, boast about it in general chat, then uninstall the game 5 minutes later

the ffs bots will be selling coin inside of a week, its just how it is, and how it has always been, and there will always be buyers
Not to mention, did you try out the ptr ? it takes about 18 hours of play time if your really trying to hit 60, and thats solo.. so it wont take long

Why is so hype for fresh servers? Is not the same and u have to do everything already did
I wanna do a fresh start and actually play the game instead of grinding townboards day in day out to hit 60 and rushing through content so I can pvp
