This video is the best explanation of why we ride, for those who haven't got into two wheels and if I wanted to explain them what it is to ride a motorcycle I'll definitively show them this video. It is just fun, laughter and joy and that warmth in the heart when you get in the bike. Great work mate!!! Enjoy your beast and ride safe!!! Cheers!!!!
I commented before on the leak you had with the overflow tubes being cracked in your carburetor bowls... I had the same problem as well and I used fuel line that I had from my RC car. it fits over the tube tightly and fuel wont eat away at it. It worked perfect for me. So if anyone out there has this problem this is a solution rather then epoxy or JB weld.
Loved this series. I started my cx project on the same day as you posted your first vid. Been a great watch. Your problem with the carbs may be the air cut off valve. I had a tiny tiny hole in my ones. Worth replacing as they are so cheap. Effects the bike when idling or engine braking hence why your beast runs fine when opened up. Just a thought. Glad she is on the road.
man. that a great bike. i dnt own it and even i had a smile when u opened it. thinking fun. you must please do a walk around for me. now that it finished .
***** Thanks mate, was nice to ride the Honda for the first time. I was sitting watching myself back going,"why am i making weird noises :S". But i don't give two monkeys ;)
Well done and thanks for the awesome videos. Did you change the headlight? I remember seeing one in your clips that had the indicators within the main head? Did that not work out?
Hi Kyle, Well done bud, great to see the bike on the road. If anyone think it's easy to build own bike, they should have a go! It's the little things that cause the most problems and head scratching? ie brackets, jets, air filter and wiring harness/block. Why is it you alway seem to have your best ideas at 3 am?? My GS Cafe Racer is going well so look forward to meeting up again at Distinguished Gentlemen Ride! PS. What is the next project????
Whitley Bay .Tunnel of Love Thanks mate and i agree it's the small things that cause the biggest things haha. I was going to ask how your GS project was going pleased it's going well :) But we shall meet again, I'm planning to take the bike to the Wetlands tonight if the weather plays ball lol. For my next project.... well i think i have fill my quoter of bikes for now, I'm just going to be keeping these ones i have on the road for now :). If i were to get another project a suzuki GT two stroke would be nice.
Hi Kyle, Bike is nearly ready. Went to add it to my insurance today (Carole Nash) because of the fact that I modified the bike my insurance premium has doubled? Any suggestion for a understanding/knowledgeable (ie what is a cafe racer!) insurance company? Cheers Mac
Two questions that are really statements, but I would like a reply. It doesn't look like you bothered re-jetting the carbs with the jets that caferacerkit sells. And that is a really good looking solve on those exhaust mounts. where did you get those?
+Sabe Lewellyn Hi, The carbs were rejetted, 120 mains and 90 ideals which was the recommended for free following exhaust and intakes. As for the exhaust mounts they were a bodge at the time, I now have a set of water cut stainless exhaust hangers which look better.

Amazing sound! congratulations!!
The sound is thrash, it doesn't sound aggressive at all, it sounds like a stock honda rebel lol.

My wife is from the north east and it was killing her not being able to recognise the roads.
