0:01, Shameful Underrated part. My favorite one. Make me think about the fact that life started in the sea, and all the time and evolution since there to now
Originally, Susan kills the 45-foot-long Gen II Mako Shark in the finale and she kissed Carter, having made amends for what she'd done. But test audiences hated the character so much that they demand a new ending where she gets killed by the Mako. The first ending is still unreleased to the public.
They did the right thing changing it, but I don’t blame Susan considering they never really wrote any redeemable scenes. The scene where she finally kills one Shark is purely to protect herself and was never about redemption. Every single corner she cut. It also was unexpected in many ways too. They didn’t build up enough redeemable character arches for her, but they did build up enough suspense to make you question whether she ultimately lives which made for a better ending with her dying. It’s interesting how this movie turned out lol
2:47-3:03 This piece of music can be heard in the workprint of *"HALLOWEEN: Resurrection",* under the alt. title: *"HALLOWEEN: The Homecoming"* where Michael Myers finally takes out Laurie Strode.
We should get about 2 and a half sticks of dynamite with these flares. From up here, you should be able to see me spear it. when i do, take the end of this cable and hook it up to the Positive side of the boat battery. and BOOM!!!
The last survivors of the film’s names: *Carter* and *Preacher.* Those *2 names are the same amount of letters to spell my actual name: Ashton Meredith.* (If Susan lived, *it would have been Ashton Shain Meredith)* :)
@@Amitlu I believe it was - in the original version of the film Susan survived and it went down very badly with test audiences as she was quite unlikable. So they changed the film at the last minute to have her get eaten instead which went down much better (pardon the pun)
That scene of her being eaten was added after test screenings extremely close to the release of the film. They didnt have much time so they just added choir
John Williams, Hans Zimmer, and Trevor Rabin always deliver.
Don’t forget Alan Silvestri, James Horner, Michael Giacchino, and Danny Elfman
Zimmer? Well to me it sounds like he´s been sleeping for the past ten years.
Yesssss!!!

It's astonishing that this is the finale piece and it wasn't on the official soundtrack. What the hell.
Well to be fair about 90% is still used. They really only changed a few specific spots thankfully!!
That's the answer of the riddle that's why 8000 pound mako shark thinks about freedom the deep blue sea
45 foot shark and you hit me.
@@digizilla164 Let me ask you something. Are you sure it was just 3 sharks?
@@digizilla164 I love that line
@@shivramkarthik2882 25 foot shark and you hit me. Nice
Would have paid 60 bucks and/or gone to the ends of the earth for this complete set back in the day

Originally, it would've been 3 survivors in the original deleted ending scene with Carter, Preater, and Susan.

3:55 best part
The darkest and best parts of this were not even used in the movie :-(
Get out of the water! Susan
the part when Susan gets eaten is missing at 3:50 wtf
It might be because it was a scene shot after the soundtrack was completed

3:54 Best part.

I imagined this soundtrack was in the end of Jaws.
0:53 is where the shark swims back to the boat.
1:52 is where the shark comes up.
1:56 is where chief Brody starts poking the shark with the spear.
