This song really reached me in November 2020. After having my husband die in November 2018, my mom a harsh death in August 2019 and my baby sister have a massive heart attack and die a few hours before my mom knocked the wind out of me. I gave up on believing God was real but I know he’s real and that there’s a plan for each of our lives.

Yes, I sometimes slip back into asking why on things I don’t understand, because the devil throws obstacles in my path, but I much rather have Jesus with me than to try to live without him. Mark, about three years ago you were in Elkhart Indiana and I tried to tell you repeatedly to tell you how much this song meant to me but I kept getting so emotional that I don't think you ever did understand me, so here's for another try. About 5 years ago I was so deep in the clutches of depression that I literally could not function, I couldn't work and I really couldn't operate in any kind of normal way. what I could do is listen to this song and "I Do Believe" from the same DVD over and over again literally by the hour and it is NOT an overstatement to say that the hope that these two songs brought to me are the only reason I'm alive today. The Lord has brought me out of my depression and I'm doing much better now. Thanks to Bill, Gloria, and to you Mark, for so beautifully bringing these words of hope into my life.
This is so me. I wish my faith was as strong as his. I just feel as if what I am doing will cause Jesus to reject me. I just feel so worthless. I am just existing. Not living.
I understand your feeling that your weakness will cause Jesus to reject you: this is accusations coming directly from Satan. When you pray ask Jesus to cause the evil to flee from you! Reading His Love letters every day will help you to hide His Words in your heart so when the accusations come you can tell the devil to take a hike, you have Jesus on your side and He will hold you in the cleft of the rock to protect you! Mark Lowry you have helped me through some very painful times. If I didn’t have you and David Phelps, I don’t think I could make it. I’m in pain 24/7 with my back and have been now a year. I finally decided I have to get something done. I went in for surgery on my back May 3 and I only weighed 77#. The doctor came in and said we can’t do surgery because you wouldn’t make it through. He said the surgery itself would be a minimum of 5 hours and probably 7 hours. I was willing to let them do the surgery knowing I wouldn’t make it through. The pain is excruciating and I’m almost to the place I can hardly stand it. Now they have decided to put a pain pump in, they are afraid of this and it will only take 1-1/2 - 2 hours. I’m willing to sign anything so they can do this. I hope to hear from them next week. I just go to UA-cam and look you and David Phelps up and honestly you two have helped me so much. I just want to thank the two of for the help I get listening to your music. God bless you all🙏🙏🙏🙏 I know God doesn’t give you more than you can handle, but sometimes I wonder.

There is a problem with this song. When the lyric says you are asking God to proof to you that those who seek will find. If you have your proper faith and belief in Jesua and God, you won't need to ask him for proof. You don't ask God to prove to you. You prove yourself to God by your faith in him and follow him.
