@@JohnDoe-dz2ne Someone need a hug? And anthropomorphizing is when you ascribe uniquely human characteristics to animals. Applying human characteristics to a human is...well...a non-issue. This is not the kind of thing that should provoke an angry all caps response lol. People call humans who look after dogs "dads" or "moms" all the time. That isn't anthropomorphizing.
When I was a teenager my family adopted a dog from the pound that was on death row, I guess they didn't check to see if she was pregnant because it didn't take long for us to realize about a month later that she came to us with a belly full of babies. It's a pretty great deal TBH, you adopt the one dog and get nine more for free
When I was a kid one day my mom went to her car and heard a growl from under it - turns out there was a dog there that wouldn’t come out. We were going to call animal control but then realized the dog was pregnant - my mom figured since the dog chose this spot as a comfortable safe place she shouldn’t be moved. Mom used Dad’s car for two months, we put food, water and blankets for the momma dog under the car. She eventually had 7 puppies, plus mom and our own dog means we had nine dogs for a while. It was so much fun having the pups come out from under the car and explore and play…when mom saw how great we were with the pups she finally came out and introduced herself after living with us for months 😄. By then we had lined up friends, family, co- workers so mom and all the puppies went to good homes. My parents taught me to never turn away from an animal or person in need.
The fact that he’s willing to give her to someone else so that he could keep helping other dogs is just so sweet and noble from him. I don’t think I could let such a good girl go, props to him for wanting to do more for other dogs like her.
She seems like she’s been bred in a mill, she knows how to be pregnant and carry the load, but literally doesn’t know how to do anything else. The process of actually bonding with her puppies was likely what changed her personality, instead of having them taken away from her right away.
It's so depressing to see stray animals in general, but stray pregnant animals are just another level! I'm so happy there's people in the world like this that take animals in and care. It makes me feel great!

It actually kind of happened to a friend of mine. His dog found a pregnant cat & brought her home. He’s been fostering pregnant stray cats & adopting them & the kittens out ever since. That’s been about 5 mamas & litters now. He’s getting ready to send this litter to their new homes.
@@mooncake387 the cat followed the dog home. Arlo, the dog, cried until my friend Chris made a spot for the cat to have her kittens. Arlo was amazing with the kittens & the mama cat trusted him completely. He would lay on the floor & let them climb all over him. Arlo’s a Doberman. Chris found homes for the mama & all the kittens but one he kept. The next year, Arlo showed up with another pregnant cat. It’s happened about 4 times now. “Uncle” Arlo loves his kittens!

We took in a kitten that turned out to be pregnant, since she was so young (around 5 to 7 months old) and it was obviously her first pregnancy she only had 2 kittens, both male and thankfully very strong and healthy. We kept her and we kept the kittens until they were 15 weeks old, we wanted them to be adopted together since they were very dependent on each other and thankfully my sister and her husband adopted both of them.
Waaaaaaa? My brain can’t compute: so a 6ish month old cat (a baby). Gave birth to more cats (also babies)? I’ve never known that to happed- I didn’t even think it could happen
The two cats I have were the last two of their litter. Adopting them both was the best decision I have ever made. I can leave them alone and not worry, they keep each other occupied. And they are the most loving cats I have ever seen. They both sleep with me, they lay on their backs showing their stomach. One jumps on my shoulders and will sleep on me any time I sit in a chair around him. And owning two cats really is easier than just owning one. I mean, scooping out extra poop of the litter box doesn't really matter when you consider how much better it is for the both of them to have each other.
@@amyconway1631 Yes, a cat can get pregnant literally at 4ish months old, usually if they're young and/or is their first pregnancy they have fewer kittens, 1 to 4 kittens usually. Also, they can get pregnant again very soon after giving birth... ours was in heat literally 6 weeks after giving birth, we had her spayed once her heat cycle passed. Kittens getting pregnant is common among strays... sad but true. We need more TNR programs.
I think it's great that you adopted both kittens together! So many people think cats can be alone on their own all the time, but a cat with a companion is usually happier and you don't have to worry about it nearly as much when you're away.

@Denise G. That is not the best thing that can happen. Obviously you don't understand how fostering works. You have to look at the bigger picture. You always have to think of the next animal in need.
@Denise G. If you keep them that's one less space for future animals in need that is taken up by a permanent pet and if you keep a dog like this momma Kaia, that cannot be around other dogs, then you cannot foster at all anymore if she is in your home. As a foster it's you job to find the PERFECT home for your foster not just any home.

In my 44 years of life, I have never had a dog or a cat that had puppies or kittens. I have always wanted that experience. But with so many animals living on the streets, in shelters, being fostered, etc that are just waiting to be adopted, that is one life experience I don’t mind never fulfilling. I would love to foster or adopt another dog. But my pooch is also not dog friendly.
That's the best you can do. Or maybe ask your family or friends if they want a puppy so your dog can have a litter and u can experience what u wanted 😂
If she has issues with other dogs then i'd highly recommend she goes to a home where the people have prior dog owning experience, preferably specifically in regards to training and handling dogs like her.

Yeah wait like.... they just got stuck? So it was done? Or was there more to that. Was the dog eventually un-stuck????? It’s so disheartening and equally confusing that it’s hard to know how to feel
@@sammygecko_ It happens. We have to manually ease the puppy out if it's possible, otherwise it's an emergency vet asap and the strong possibility of losing momma and any babies left inside. Sometimes the contractions will eventually push the dead puppy out though, it depends on where it's stuck.
Please don’t give her up for adoption, she’s so at home with you, y’all have been through a lot of memorable moments together. You are everything to her. From the hard streets into your loving family

It's important for adopters to understand the difference between dog reactivity and dog aggression. Just because a dog is reactive to stranger dogs does not mean it cannot get along with dogs in the same household. And sometimes the presence of a calmer dog sibling can help a reactive dog to overcome its issues and be more sociable. (In this case, I trust that the rescue organization did its due diligence and determined she really cannot be homed with another dog.)

@Aidan Nolan any dog can be very aggressive??? You have to understand that pitbulls are one of the most discriminated dogs breeds and many of them have been abused, neglected, etc. And you wonder why they're "aggressive"?
I love pit bulls, but I wouldn’t want one only cuz they’re too strong. And it would probably push me all the time. I’m not saying I don’t like pit bulls I just don’t want one
Ah, bless them all and so lovely that this brave mama was able to keep her puppies for so long - 16 weeks with their mum, how lovely. Well done mama, you are beautiful and so are your puppies. It's the way they are treated I cant wait for him to get a rottweiler and then instead of barking off intruders its gonna lie on the ground for belly rubs 😁😅
My neighbors spoil thier dog, still bit 5 people. The dog is half lab, half pittie. And totally unhinged.
@@C2K_Chuufis Rottweilers are hard to train, they're very confident dogs, I hope he takes it to dog training or it's gona run wild
@@Kurious_Kiwi aww man 😅 I'm not gonna tell him this I'm just gonna pet him watch and learn >:3
@@C2K_Chuufis lol good luck 😅
In my 44 years of life, I have never had a dog or a cat that had puppies or kittens. I have always wanted that experience. But with so many animals living on the streets, in shelters, being fostered, etc that are just waiting to be adopted, that is one life experience I don’t mind never fulfilling.
I would love to foster or adopt another dog. But my pooch is also not dog friendly.
Good on you for keeping dogs off the street
That's the best you can do. Or maybe ask your family or friends if they want a puppy so your dog can have a litter and u can experience what u wanted 😂
If she has issues with other dogs then i'd highly recommend she goes to a home where the people have prior dog owning experience, preferably specifically in regards to training and handling dogs like her.
Thats a VERY rare a specific type of person. Usually people who have those skills currently have a dog in the house.
Kaia has been gifted hearts that believe in her. Yours especially. thank you for saving her and loving her through it all!
You are the best guy ever. Thank God for people like you.
Thank you God for this person who cares and makes a difference in the world.
One can always tells the heart❤
of a REAL Man in his caring, kind, and LOVING treatment of innocent and vulnerable creatures🐶🌠...
Thank YOU, All Animal ANGELS!!!
She is so pretty and loving. I wish you and this little lady best life ever. GOD bless you for your work.
My heart just melts when a Pittie smiles.
Rip to the one who didn’t make it
He or she is in a better place
Rest in peace little one 🙏
Yeah wait like.... they just got stuck? So it was done? Or was there more to that.
Was the dog eventually un-stuck?????
It’s so disheartening and equally confusing that it’s hard to know how to feel
@@sammygecko_ It happens. We have to manually ease the puppy out if it's possible, otherwise it's an emergency vet asap and the strong possibility of losing momma and any babies left inside. Sometimes the contractions will eventually push the dead puppy out though, it depends on where it's stuck.
@@adelucas4824 Can they still be saved?
Please don’t give her up for adoption, she’s so at home with you, y’all have been through a lot of memorable moments together. You are everything to her. From the hard streets into your loving family
Foster is very important. They take care of dogs in conditions where it would not be adopted like pregnant, with injuries or sick. They make it better to a point that the dog can get adopted. Fosterig is a very difficult job and few accept it. So it's better to have him as foster than just another dog owner.
She is old. She needs you very badly and loves you very much. Please don't give her up.
This guy is a real hero. This made me cry happy tears and restores my faith in humanity.
I’m in love with this incredible man!!🥰🥰🥰
It's important for adopters to understand the difference between dog reactivity and dog aggression.
What a beautiful story and such a good momma!! I felt horrible for her with such a big belly.. poor sweetheart, but she did amazing! God bless you Josh for doing what you do, your a god send to these wonderful animals!!
This foster dad is magnificent. I love the way he finds absolute joy for himself as well by caring for her (and the pups.)
It's heartwarming to realize that in spite of this world, there are still wonderful people just like u. Thanks for caring about a little lovely life. ❤
THANK YOU FOR FOSTERING HER THROUGH HER PREGNANCY!!!
hello good afternoon and happy new month of April ❤️❤️
"The Dodo" you motivated us to start our UA-cam journey🙏
What is with these spam comments that say they got inspired by another UA-camr?
What an amazing man , God bless him in ways no one could imagine 💗
Now that’s what you call an amazing momma!❤️❤️
Look at these sweeties. The people who call pit bulls evil can shove it.
Right! It’s just how you raise them, and the type of environment you have them in ❤️
@Aidan Nolan any dog can be very aggressive??? You have to understand that pitbulls are one of the most discriminated dogs breeds and many of them have been abused, neglected, etc. And you wonder why they're "aggressive"?
@Aidan Nolan Remember, there are no bad dogs or breeds, only bad owners!
@@lm7008 Couldn't have put it better myself!
I love pit bulls, but I wouldn’t want one only cuz they’re too strong. And it would probably push me all the time. I’m not saying I don’t like pit bulls I just don’t want one
Thumbs up for the guy who stays with her during the birthing process..may the universe returns you kindness and love for her
The Universe always rewards kindness and punishes evil sooner or later.
Ein toller Mensch! ! Und ein unglaublich toller Hund!! Wahnsinn!
Such a Blessing.. The Dog, her Pups and especially this kind Man🤗💖
Bless you! I can only imagine with her what might've become of her without your intervention. Respect animals, people!
Bless you taking care of her and her family. She’s beautiful as is her gorgeous pups‼️🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
She is special, and you are very special for having done so right by her. Thank you.
You, sir, are "the best all around."
Ah, bless them all and so lovely that this brave mama was able to keep her puppies for so long - 16 weeks with their mum, how lovely. Well done mama, you are beautiful and so are your puppies. I'm so glad they have all gone to loving 'forever homes' and at the same time, deeply sad for the little one who didn't quite make it.
Thank you for all you did for her and allowing her to have her pups peacefully. God bless you for all you did.
WOW! It's wonderful that U were there for her in her time of need. She has a trusting, sweet face. God blessed both of you.💖
Awww beautiful mama ♥️🐶💕
Thank you for having such a kind and huge heart. Thank you for taking care of this precious baby and her babies. They probably would not have made if you did not care for them. God bless you!! A hero in my book!!
Thanks so much for saving that beautiful Mommy and her baby's thanks so much they are beautiful
So precious!❤️❤️❤️❤️ I am so glad she had a safe and loving place to have her babies. Bless you for helping her
This video literally made my whole day. Such a loving dog and her human 💕❤️💕❤️
I hope she found her forever home
She is going to be a really good mama. I wish her the best.
Those puppies are the cutest thing ever ! I’m so glad that you took her in just in time

I feel so happy for the mom dog I’m crying 😭
Beautiful soul. Thanks for taking her in and helping her. Glad she’s loved by new family as well. ❤️
Seeing her get carried up the steps with that cute big old belly was so adorable...
Maybe she was so happy to be a Mom in a Safe and loving space, who knows what she had lived through.
Just being a Mama without fighting for food or fearing for her Pups.
Cog or Dow?
Dog: “MOOF”
cat: “NOOOOO”
I don’t know how we made it close too the same day in 2021 but hi ✨🤩
Cog or Dow? What? Explain the comment?
@@CoolMan1000 cow/dog or dog/cow because of the puppy udder. Cog or Dow? I vote for Dow🤣
@@traceydelfs2657 That is not normal, its possible she was used in a puppy farm and has had TONS of litters sadly. I have the exactly same type of female pitbull who has had 3 litters, and she is no where near this bad.
I cannot get enough of these stories. Even the really happy ones make me cry! I'm just in awe at how truly wonderful animals are and the bond they build with their owners. This Mama deserves the world and I hope she's adopted soon! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!!! YOU DID A PERFECT JOB!! AMAZING YOU BOTH ARE!!
God bless this man. If not for him Kaia would never had her forever loving home, it's so good to see her happy
I love how you guys do those little "sounds" that come out of their mouths!
we need more people like you in thos cruel world . GLOD BLESS YOU
THANK YOU UA-cam FOR SHOWING BEAUTIFUL THESE VIDEOS
God Bless this man! Your are an inspiration to me to become a better father, friend and mostly a man. Thank you sir!
Loving all the pit bull content lately! Adorable puppies and a great dedicated mother
That’s so sweet of you bringing a homeless puppy to your home
Thank you so much for giving this beautiful momma pittie to have her babies in a safe place and all the perks for you too. You comfort a beautiful dog and plenty of puppy love
I like the fact that this guy has a thoughtful heart and really cares about whats best for his dog.
I'll never understand how people think animals don't mourn the loss of their kids, even when adopting the litter out. I know it's impossible to keep mama & an entire litter but please keep the thought of mama mourning in mind. Extra love always helps.
I think as many of the family should be kept together and visited if possible.. I agree it's so sad
