    If you ever have products like this that have a takedown feature, at night you should take it outside and show us how bright it actually is.

    Hello,
    I work security and we can only have Amber and White lights (obviously lol)
    However I'm looking for a set of Avengers or Avenger ii that are able to do only Amber/White, and steady burn white as a take down.
    Would I be able to buy the Trio (dual led, not single) and set it up this way? Thank you!

      You could use either the single Avenger II in an Amber/White DUO or for a larger lighting footprint and more potency for illumination, the Avenger II dual is also offered in a Dual A/W. Our Sales Team can give you a hand with pricing and part numbers. Please email them at: info@sirenent.com. Thank you.

    It blows my mind that Whelen still hasn't developed 3M double-sided tape mounting brackets (similar to StarSignal's Mini Phantom) for these, and still limits you to god awful, bulky suction cup mounts.

      OnThe23rd you can do that use the bracket and buying 3M extreme velcro

      A few VERY SMALL pieces of 3M VHB (very high bonding) tape attached to the mounting bracket and you will never have to worry about the suction cups failing. But don't go hog-wild with the tape or you will never get the bracket off the window. If you just use a few very small pieces to mount the bracket you should be able to remove the bracket sometime in the future.

    If I get the hardwired version, do the three different (color modes) mean the actual colors or different modes I can program the light to be in. I'm just confused why the wires would actually control the individual colors when there's a button to change the color.

    • @SIRENNET
      @SIRENNET  2 роки тому +1

      On the hardwire version, the 3-trigger wires activate each color separately. Red wire activates Color 1, Orange activates Color 2, and Yellow activates Color 3. It has only 1-momentary button which is used to select the flash pattern. The reasoning behind why it doesn't have another momentary button like the 12volt plug-in for Mode selection is that it's designed to be operated in conjunction with a CarBide or Core Controller. Both of these units take control over setting the patterns and modes by using Whelen's programming software.

      @@SIRENNET Okay which controller would be best to control that dash light, and some ions (just lights)? I want to hook all those up to a soundoff handheld siren controller so I wouldn't need a siren from Whelen just a controller for the lights.

      @@drakecroft2478 An Avenger II hardwire and ION Light-heads can be activated through a Soundoff Handheld Siren Controller. If the intention is to have them do more than just flash, than well need to talk about this in more detail. A phone call with our Tech Chris would be easiest. His direct number is 503-718-2095. Or, feel free to call our main number. Its (888) 959-0911.

    If I were to have more then one, is there a way to sync the two together? Also, my truck only has one cigarette lighter plug, so how would I be able to power two or more?

    • @goigle
      @goigle 7 років тому +1

      they have sync models but you'd have to hardwire them, the sync models do not have cigarette plugs
      you can get the dual model when it comes out which will have two modules in one unit which will have a cigarette plug, or if you're happy with unsynced lights you can get a cigarette plug extender
      I'd personally recommend spending the extra $100 to get a 4200 mini though, they're great little controllers and it'll look better than a cigarette plug

    • @SIRENNET
      @SIRENNET  7 років тому +1

      Unfortunately you won't be able to sync two of the 12volt plug-in Avenger II's together. Only the hardwire model can be wired together for uniform flashing. For use multiple plug-in's you can add one of the Able2 12volt outlet boxes that we offer or you could use a splitter. You'll have one plug-on and the harness Y's to 2 outlets. You can find them at most auto parts stores for the ease of plug and flash :).

      Having worked with both first hand, the output between the Fusion and AVN II are quite similar... we can't say that out really out does the other. With the combination of linear and TIR optics in the Avenger II, you will have the benefit of both head on and off-axis at the same time.Comparing the Avenger to the Avenger II tri-color isn't a spot on match. In the Avenger, you made 9 solid color diodes firing away while the count in the tri-color is less for each, so you will notice a brighter bolder pop from the original in that case.

    • @goigle
      @goigle 7 років тому +1

      They look goofy to me. I understand the reasoning for the trio modules not having equal TIR led counts, but to me it looks kinda odd. If it was 1b,1r,1w then you could have a decent spin pattern too...
      They should have made it so you can customize the TIR modules, but that is a lot to ask for in a dash light.
