If you wanna use only one, I would suggest a gel. Leave in conditioner and a gel is the best combination. If u need to add some weight/control and then style... you should use cream and a gel. In general better is to use leave in conditioner and gel
Usually, a cream is enough if your hair is well hydrated. But curly hair is inherently drier so I would suggest to add a leave in conditioner and then use a cream. If you have fine hair then you should skip the leave in.

Arata hair cream or arata hair gel ... Which is better
If you are looking for hold alone, then the gel. If you are looking for some moisture plus very mild hold, then the Arata cream.

Curl up is also a good cream! I just preferred Arata comparatively..
Also, the curl up cream lasts longer than the Arata cream! So that's some plus! 😄
